Equinox: A Great Moment for the Rapture?

I've been a little nervous lately, thinking about the upcoming summer equinox. It makes me uneasy because I know the cults all become more active at this time. For example, atheists have picnics, and the wiccans--I don't even want to know what wiccans do.

Then, a potential good of the equinox occurred to me. Would not that be a great moment for the rapture? It would be so easy, administratively so to speak, to separate the Christians from the heathens.

God could spot immediately those caught in the act of celebrating equinox and torch them. The float-on-up program for the rest of us would be expedited.

I don't know if this is sound theological thinking. It's just something I think would be practical.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

It seems to me that in his omnipotence, it doesn't matter much to God when he kills all the false-believers.

However, since it is morally right to kill these people at any time (Dt.13:6-10), it would be a good time for a True Christian™to go out and do their thing.

You are so lucky being on the other side of the equator, we are coming up to the winter equinox. The wiccans will their bits off if they start those evil filthy rituals over here. Burn them all I say they are an abomination to the Lord.

Actually, we're coming up on a solstice. Not an equinox. They're quite the opposite. the Summer Solstice (commonly called Midsummer) is the longest day of the year, while the Winter Solstice (Yule) is the longest night. Just a minor correction.
