Replace handicap parking with wealthy parking

I'm so tired of these old geezers and people with government paid for chairs getting their own exclusive parking spaces. Being a lazy bum entitles you to an extra parking space? Just who do these people think they are? Worse yet some of these spaces are left empty and unoccupied. How appalling is it that business owners are forced to use their parking space that they paid for in order to support these bum's lazy lifestyle? Maybe if these bums had to walk a bit they wouldn't be so out of shape.

Though it seems like a lot of trouble to just revert all these spaces back to regular parking spaces. So here's my idea. Lets replace all the handicap parking spaces with wealthy people parking spaces! Anyone who makes more than $250,000 a year is eligible.

Here's what it would accomplish:

• Give lazy liberal government leeching bums some exercise.
  
  
• Giving lazy liberal bums equality by having to work to get a space like anyone else. Instead of just being handed a parking space.
  
  
• Giving a reward to those who have given the most to this country. A happy wealthy class means a happy America.
  
  
• Saving valuable time for our most valuable members of society. Many of these people make $10+ a minute. Every minute that they have to look for a parking space is revenue lost. Lazy bums who don't work don't need to save time.
  
  
• Encouraging more business transactions. I'm often times reluctant to go to certain establishments just because of how difficult it is to find a good parking space. Since the wealthy can be reassured they will always find a parking space, that means more business transactions, and more revenue for America.
  
  
• Keeping society fair. If you pay more money to a club, don't you get more benefits in return? I don't see any reason why America should be different.
  
  
• Encouraging people to be rich. Think about it, with well deserved tax cuts along with great parking, nobody will want to be poor! It won't be long until everyone is rich and the government will have more money than they know what to do with!

I usually take the handicap parking if all regular ones in line of sight are occupied.
My time is valuable, and those lazy bums are better of walking.

I'm so glad you raised this topic. It is a long standing effort in Freehold to rid the City of handicapped accomodation of all kinds. Freehold is a city of people make able and healthy by God.

The well-to-do pay the most in taxes, it is only fair that they get 'preferred parking'. The handicapped are constantly whinning about needing special accomodations yet when it comes time to pay for them, these complainers are suddenly unavailable for comment.
God struck them down with horrible afflicitions because they are bad people. The good, wealthy people should not have to suffer. Nor should decent people have to be subjected to having to see them. Many a fine dinner has been spoiled because some geezer at the next table on a HoverRound(r) had a colostomy bag burst.

What I don't understand is why a wheelchair needs to be that close to the entrance. You're on wheels, right? It's not like you're some cripple with crutches that can barely cross the street.

Every parking lot in America has to waste their prime parking spots just in case some cripple might want to come shop and be guaranteed the closest possible space at any given time. Yet, as far as I can tell, these spots are almost always open.

I love it! The job creators of our economy are busy people. If we don't give them preferred parking, they won't spend their hard earned money at local businesses.

It also gives hard working people like me an incentive to become rich some day. Oh how I will lord it over the little people when I get there some day!

Why? I thought the OP was very well thought out and rather comprehensive. Further, the idea of rewarding those who work hardest with prime parking spaces is nothing more than a collective "pat on the back" from society.

Thank you Brother Prayer, for raising this very important issue! Not too long ago, I was visiting Washington DC for some important meetings with the five Supreme Court justices we have on our payroll, and during lunch break we decided to head over to McDonald's. Yeah, I admit, I enjoy an occasional Big Mac and chocolate shake - it makes a welcome break from caviar and French wine. Anyway, it was noontime, and McDonald's was really crowded, even the handicapped parking spots were full. Furthermore, none of the parking spots were big enough to fit our stretch limos.

Fortunately, my professional security people handled it well. They towed away all the SUVs and cars parked in the handicapped spaces, and three adjacent spaces together were long enough to park one stretch limo. They also herded all the customers into the lady's room and locked them inside during the two hours we ate and chatted before heading back to the country club to resume a few rounds of golf and discuss upcoming court cases and how much in bonuses we would pay for favorable rulings.

We did have a slight incident when one of the elderly patrons locked in the rest room had a heart attack and his wife tried to call 911 on her cell phone, but my security people were using a radio device to block the call (the War on Terror, you know), so some of the other trailer trash started banging on the rest room door demanding that we call paramedics, despite the fact that they'd been told to keep quiet so as to not disturb us. That's where those tasers come in handy - if I was back in Cambodia where my security folks use live ammo, it would have been a lot messier. After binding all the customers' wrists with plastic handcuffs and taping their pie holes shut with duct tape, my security people didn't have any more trouble.

Anyway, we had a nice lunch. Although I probably don't go to McDonald's more than once or twice a year, it's good to keep in touch with what the riff-raff eat out there in flyover land. Of course, we brought our own organic lettuce and tomatoes for the burgers - I wouldn't touch the E-coli infected and chemical-laden stuff that my company's agribusiness division supplies to McDonald's and Wal-Mart - that would be practically suicidal!

God handicapped your mother, probably because she raised a disrespectful child. By rewarding her we are spitting in God's face.

I am lucky to live in Freehold where a man can use three or four of the crippled spaces to park his RV at the mall. The police are more than happy to take a cash donation for this service, which they give to the church.

What I don't get is those so called handicapped people mock Jesus to get a handicap to get a better parking space. It is all their own choice. Well, if they want to pay with eternity in hell.... just doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

While that would be an unfortunate side effect, that is all the more reason why people don't deserve special parking just for being handicapped. If someone like him can become wealthy, then it is obvious that being in a wheel chair doesn't prevent anyone from becoming wealthy.

The reason these people are poor isn't because they can't walk properly. It is because they are lazy. They want to find the first excuse to bum free food and good parking spaces off hard working Americans.
