Hey everybody, lets get straight in to the Bible!

Leviticus 18:22 Clearly states that homosexuality is WRONG. What great advice! What more does the book of Leviticus have to teach us?

    leviticus 19:19

"You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your animals breed with a different kind; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; nor shall you put on a garment made of two different materials."

This means, do not let your different animal species mate, brilliant advice. Do not sow your fields with two kinds of seeds, and do not put on clothes made of different materials! So any of you wearing a cotton polyester blend at the moment TAKE IT OFF. You are seriously displeasing God!

    lev. 19:27

You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard.

So do not cut your hair off your temples! And do not shave your beard. Pastor Ezekiel you are one seriously guilty of this if your appearance is still the same as in your avatar.

    lev. 19:26

You shall not eat anything with its blood.

Enjoying a rare piece of steak? STOP.

    lev. 11:10

But anything in the seas or the streams that does not have fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and among all the other living creatures that are in the waters—they are detestable to you

Crab, Lobster, Muscles? Detestable to you!

    lev. 11:6-8

The hare, for even though it chews the cud, it does not have divided hoofs; it is unclean for you. The pig, for even though it has divided hoofs and is cloven-footed, it does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. 8Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean for you.

Rabbits? Unclean. Pigs? Don't touch them - American Football? Abomination to God unless the Football is not made out of pig skin.

    lev. 15:19

When a woman has a discharge of blood that is her regular discharge from her body, she shall be in her impurity for seven days, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

We should all know this, 7 days impurity. Anyone who TOUCHES her will be unclean!

    Praise Jesus everyone.

You got that right, brother. The mule is an abomination.

Hold on a minute, friend. It doesn't say not to shave your beard -- it only says not to mar the corners. This verse doesn't mandate a beard. It only forbids certain styles if you choose to wear one.

If you wear a beard, you want to look like the guy on the right, not the guy on the left.

Amen. A steak should be gray all the way through.

Old Testament laws still apply unless they are specifically abrogated in the New Testament. This is one of those laws.

    Jesus said this:
    Mark 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mark 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mark 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

Jesus said that we cannot be made unclean by the things that we eat.

Furthermore, we are told in Romans 14:2 that saved Christians may eat whatever we like.
Romans 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

American footballs are made of cow leather and rubber.

That is one of the reasons why the use of tampons is frowned upon. If a woman uses a rag like a Godly Christian woman then you can smell her uncleanliness from several feet away.

I think Brother Falso is "Cherry Picking".

For instance, he has missed out the first 17 Verses of Leviticus Chapter 15 regarding "The Male Issue".

Perhaps he would like to run through those for us?

Thanks for clearing all that up Pastor. But one thing I don't understand is all men have beards, I.e. to shave you must have a beard! So to shave is still to mar the corners of your beard. You shouldn't be doing it.

Now we are getting into the differences between Moral and Ceremonial Laws.

Moral laws are the ones like "thou shalt not kill", "thou shalt not commit adultery", "thou shalt not lie with mankind"... these laws are absolute.

These are the laws that govern actions that one should take.

The other types of laws are Ceremonial.

Examples of this are "mar the corners of the beards", the Nazarite laws, and the touching of unclean things laws.

When you saw in Acts 10:13 the voice of the LORD saying "Rise, Peter; kill, eat" that did away with the unclean food laws.

Jesus sacrifice (the FINAL sacrifice) fulfilled all the laws about how to remove sin.

Jesus removed those ceremonial laws, and allowed True Christianity (tm) to be available to almost everyone.

If you look at Romans 4 most of it talks about circumcision (which would be a Ceremonial law). It talks about the faith of Abraham. Was Abraham any less of a follower of the LORD before he was circumcised?

Part of the reason why Jesus did away with the Ceremonial laws was because people became slaves to those laws. They believed that by following those laws, they could achieve heaven.

If you look up shaving in Judaism on wiki, you'll see this

Isaac Luria, a significant figure in the history of Kabbalistic mysticism, meticulously avoided touching his beard, lest he should accidentally cause hairs to drop from it
          Friend, that's idolatry.

Jesus did away with the Ceremonial laws to prevent such things from happening.

          Hope this helps

Leviticus 18:22 is a Moral Law.

Homosexuality has nothing to do with appearance (or application) of worship. It's a choice of sinful behaviour.

If you can explain to me how homosexuality is somehow ceremonial behaviour, you might be able to change my mind on that. But I don't think it's possible.

(Especially when you consider that in several instances in the New Testament, Paul cautions against faggish behaviour).

Friend, are you trying to understand? Or just trying to be a pain?

Faggotry is wrong, there's no way around it; there's no place in the Bible (KJV1611) that says that having the gay sex is acceptable.

Beard trimming ONLY has to do with the Jews and their ceremonial laws.

                    It comes down to this.

I was saying these laws are all written in the same book (lev), should they be treated the same? I find it difficult to see how judging them as ceremonial and moral works, as either can easily be seen as either, frankly.

To me it seems either faggotary is not officially outlawed along with shaving, or they are both outlawed.

Excellent idea. But why are we discussing God's rules for a good Christian life in the Creation Science forum? Unfalse, you are aware that there are forums specifically set up to discuss clean Christian living, aren't you?

...do not let your different animal species mate... do... not sow your fields with two kinds of seeds, and do not put on clothes made of different materials!
You are right. We do not let different species mate, double sow our fields, or wear mixed fiber clothing.

Right again. That's why Sister Mary Maria and other True Christian(TM) women only post in our forums 3 weeks out of every four (it's also one reason why we can't have a woman as President). We aren't completely heartless, though; since 2004 we've provided them with Bibles to help relieve their boredom.

Why does it matter what I say? It matters what is said in the Bible. And reading it without twisting anything to say something, we are given a choice between accepting them both, or moving away from them both. We can't exactly say Jesus negated one but not the other.
