  • We're not Racist, we believe in "Sins of the Fathers"

I am sickened by the lack of personal responsibility these days. I can't count how many times I've heard someone say "You can't blame me for what happened before I was born!"

Legally, we already do. Let's say your father wastes money. As a result of your father's wastefulness, you don't inherit money. The sins of your father have been visited on you. Meanwhile someone with (economically) virtuous parents, like Paris Hilton, gets to inherit a massive fortune.

    "Personal responsibility, biatches!"
So now you see why liberals are so obsessed with taxing inheritence (rather than the GOP plan of payroll taxes, borrowing, or just printing more money). By taxing inheritence they will undermine a major pillar of Christianity, the concept of Sins Of The Father.

We should not be reducing the effects of inheritance, we should be expanding the logic. After all, any republican knows that inheritance provides incentive for people to work hard and save money, knowing it will go to their kids. That's why Republicans want the government to borrow money rather than tax inheritance. So let's increase the incentive, by also punishing people's kids for their crimes. We already punish them with poverty. Let's do more.

Criminals will think twice about committing a crime if they know their children, and children's children, will be punished for it. In fact, we could just skip chasing fugitives and go for their kids, who are easier to catch.

Picture this next time you're planning a crime. Or don't, because under Obama's regime, there's no personal responsibility
For those who still don't get my logic, I will Appeal To Authority:

    Exodus 20:5, Exodus 34:6-7, and Deuteronomy 5:9, Numbers 14:18.

The Lord visits the sins of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

Unless it's conceiving a child out of wedlock, in which case it's 10 generations: Deuteronomy 23:2

Some sins are inherited endlessly, and The Bible goes into specifics: Jews are responsible for killing Jesus:

    1 Thessalonians 2:15

The Jews even confessed: Matthew 27:24-25

Proof that prayer words: Christians prayed for the Holocaust:

[In the EasternOrthodox Church] the Holy Thursday liturgy...speaks of "the murderers of God, the lawless nation of the Jews", and, referring to "the assembly of the Jews", prays: "But give them, Lord, their reward, because they devised vain things against Thee."...A liturgy with a similar pattern, historically using the term "perfidious Jews," can be found in the Improperia of the Roman Catholic Church...[and] the 1989 Anglican Prayer Book of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa...

Blacks - the Sons of Ham - are to be the lowest class of slaves. Forever:

    Genesis 9:25

So next time we blame an indian for scalping settlers, or the Japanese for Pearl Harbor, or Mexicans for illegal immigration that happened a few generations back, or Pakis just for being Pakis, it's not racism. It's a biblically-mandated form of capitalist incentive.

Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

This all makes sense to me. I mean, say someone already has a billion dollars. That is probably more than enough money to purchase everything they could ever need for themselves. What is their incentive to continue working? If there's no inheritance then those billionaires might as well shut their company down and live in luxury for the rest of their lives, destroying millions of jobs.

Though thanks to inheritance, those billionaires have an incentive to continue working. That is not only allowing themselves to live in luxury, but their children, and their children's children, etc. That money is theirs. They earned it. Why wouldn't they be given the decision on who should inherit it?

Similarly, if you know your children are going to be punished in addition to just you, wouldn't you be a lot more careful not to commit crimes?

Demoncrats would destroy jobs and increase crime in one swoop. They know that the less rich people there are inheriting billions of dollars, the less potential opponents they will have. They won't be happy until the entire country is dependent on government funds.

Don't they realize that when they destroy the job creators that their precious government funds will dry up too? This is like a degenerate child wishing death upon his parents because he doesn't like being told what to do, then when it happens the child is shocked that no one is there to feed him or get him new toys or clean up after him.

Real men don't need handouts, children do. Democrats are nothing more than children who haven't grown up, and as children they shouldn't get the right to vote.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Isn't it true that NO ONE knows what happens after you die? I mean, you can have "faith," but faith is believing something. That's great. But it isn't KNOWING. So, wouldn't it then be true that anyone who claims to KNOW what happens after death (i.e., going to heaven or hell) is a liar? Isn't it arrogant to claim such sure knowledge when no proof exists whatsoever?

Interesting segue into life after death. For the record, we do know what to expect. For example, we know there will be no sea (Revelation 21:1), no more crying (Revelation 7:17); no eating and drinking, just righteousness and joy (Romans 14:17)!

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Mary, dear, I will proceed directly to your welcome page. But you're quoting the bible as proof that you know something. That isn't proof of anything other than the fact that you you believe what was written. I'm only suggesting that neither you nor I, nor anyone you've met or they've met have been dead and returned to talk about it. So we can't know what happens after death. Why not just preach the gospel of "I Don't Know?" Because the incontrovertible fact is that we don't.

Correct. Hi and welcome to a Christian forum.
We believe the Bible is the truth. How do we know it is true? Because of faith.

Indeed we don't know, but what if I am right?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
