I am just so disturbed by this. In my research of false Chrisitan sects, I have learned that the Armenians practice a form of animal sacrifice called matagh, seen here in this photo.

We could talk a lot about how Jesus' sacrifice on the cross eliminate the need for sacrificing animals, and we could talk a lot about how bathing in the blood of animals is a pagan ritual, but I'm most alarmed by the fact that there are men and women bathing in blood together, and the woman is topless!



I'll bet Kim Kardashian has a whole herd of Armenian men lining up outside her church, just to see her get naked and covered in lamb's blood!

I can't find anything in the Bible that specifically says a pregnant woman going around naked is any worse than any other woman doing so, but I have a strong hunch God is extra disgusted with it.

I sure don't think Kim Kardashian is particularly discreet, chaste, or obedient like God wants her to be!

This is what happens when people can't be bothered to read the whole Bible. Someone, somewhere said something about being washed in the blood of the lamb and instead of looking it up, they go and slaughter this perfectly good animal and dance naked under the blood pouring from its jugular.

I'm not quite sure how you arrived at the conclusion that it's sick, however.

Please forgive me if that sounds snide. I really don't mean it to, and I'd like to ask you a serious question:

If you don't have a solid foundation of moral discernment, derived from reading the Bible and living according to Christian principles, how, exactly, do you determine what is sick and what isn't?

Do you just go by how things make you feel?

What if your feelings happen to change?

Would that mean that something which used to be sick could stop being sick?

And how do you know whose feelings to go by?

What if you think something like molesting children is sick, but your neighbor thinks it's not sick? How do you know his feelings on the matter aren't the ones that should guide our behavior?

Because they killed that poor sheep for some cult reason. Dude, I don't like to think of animals being killed for food but I cant stop people from doing it. But killing for pleasure? or for whatever this is? that's just wrong.

No religion that I can think of demands an actual "baptism by blood".

Not quite. There's more to it, but it's difficult to get into on this board.

I can PM you the names of some good books. The first one I would suggest is The Three Pillars of Zen or The heart of the Buddah's teachings by Tich Naht Hahn. I'm not a huge fan of his writings, but this one is good. And you gotta give props to a man who spent the entire Vietnam war trying to get both sides to quit hating each other.

What god? I don't have a "god". Buddha was a man who found the way to inner peace. Yeah, I know there's lots of schools of teaching out there that say all sorts of crazy stuff about him, but ol' Sid was just a man. The parts of the story that I believe is that he was born a prince to an over protective father. His father wanted to block everything "bad" from him, so he was shocked when he saw his first "old man". Then he broke out of the palace a few times and saw things that shocked him (he'd litterally been living in an ivory tower) so he went to find his path. He had live a life of decadence, and that didn't bring him peace, so he tried a life of poverty with some monks, well that didn't help him either. So he figured out that the middle path was the way to go.


But if you came to me and PROVED that Buddha never existed, it wouldn't change a thing. Someone came up with this stuff and it's pretty good.
