It is most grevious that so many so-called Christians today have not even read The Book, and so cannot begin to adhere to it.

It's like the "actors" one always sees in coffee houses in the middle of the day, claiming to all present that they are "actors". (I'm just picking one of the most obvious examples of The False.)

These people say they are "actors", but what have they acted in? Was it one little thing in a classroom, or on public access television, 3 years ago? Do they live the life of an actor? Are they actors today? Do their tax returns show them to indeed be actors...or really waiters/handymen/layabouts?

The same is true with the current crop of "Christians". What was the last True Christian™ act they performed? The last Scriptural words they uttered? Do they live and breathe the life of a Christian? Do their tax returns indicate they are Christians?

As we may ask the braying "actor" in the coffee house, Where can we see you act?, we may well ask the modern, self-proclaimed "Christian", "Where can we see you act Christian?"

Most so-called Christians think they are saved just because they talk the talk and wear some decadent gold-plated cross.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Praise the Lord of Hosts! I knew there was a decent sweet Christian inside of you somewhere. Indeed, false Christians are on the path to hell as they have not done works.

wait, why would you capitalize christian when it's used to denote false christians? Should only be capitalized when speaking of True Christians, in my opinion. If anything, Hell should be capitalized, being a proper noun and a very grave matter.

You have a point, but the reference to Christ is still worthy of capitalization. The word "false", however, must never be capitalized, except if it's the first word in a sentence.

Well Jude is a particularly good example isn't it. The lascivious men are obviously not Christians. How have they cherry-picked God's Inerrant Word you ask?

By ignoring the bit about not being lascivious, as I should have thought was obvious.

They ignore passages where God condemns adultery. They carry on with one another's wives or with one another and rely on the "forgiveness" of Christ to set matters straight when they are finished. Haiti would in fact be a good example. From the falsehood of syncretism, more or less identical with the rites of popish catholicism (except the papists have no connection at all to the actual ministry of Jesus), it was a short step to universal prostitution and witchdoctor worship. If they had not deselected the majority of God's Just Law their island would be a testimony to His mercy. But no, like you they looked for (and found) some text or other to justify their base desires. Jude bears witness:

Having decided to follow your own lusts, lusts which I will point are ABSENT in any actual Christian, then everything you do or seee or hear becomed warped. Can you look at woman without re-interpreting Scripture so that you may drool and pass "remarks"? you can not.

When 2 (or 3 or 20) perverts seek affirmation for some sort of "union" and the possible iterations of such a quagmire beggars belief just look around you in any upmarket retail outlet, is there a customer not obsessed with depravity (except Christian customers) of course not. They either reject God outright or choose only those parts of The Gospel seeming not to revile the behaviours they choose. That's why it's called cherry picking and that's why Jude wrote:

Why is it that in Genesis, it's said the God made beast before man but then contradicts itself by saying it made man after beast?
