Tell me this then, did Jesus and His disciples ever break the law?

Some unbiblical ideas that the pope has brainwashed you with?
You're right, I have no interest in learning them.
I have the Word of Jesus, so why would I need your false doctrines?
You're the one who refuses to learn about Jesus.
If you refuse Jesus, then you cannot be Saved, no matter what your antichrist pope tells you.

Re: Verses to save.
You are making yourself a laughing stock, because of your absurd efforts to twist the Word of God. Your mary-worshipping cult has "documented" many false teachings, but that does not make them true. God hates you for your lies and blasphemy.Originally posted by Fish View PostThese are well documented arguments. Must we reiterate? It's from Psalms, not part of the Mosaic law..Originally posted by Fish View PostYou posted an Old testament verse, written for Israel at the time. Of course it is going to tell them to keep the law.

What happened to "I follow the ENTIRE Bible", Fish?
Originally posted by Fish View PostI follow the ENTIRE Bible. But I also understand some basic theology and context.
But now you're saying we can throw EVERYTHING Old Testament away? IT'S ALL OBSOLETE?
Where did Jesus say that?
This is starting to turn into comedy!

Re: Verses to save.
Read the Bible (KJV1611), you homer. Please!Originally posted by Fish View PostI was talking about salvation, not rewards.
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Psalm 119:155
Do you know what statues mean, homer?
It means DECREES/LAWS, the Mosaic law.
That is a different thing.
Nope, this is a case of rewarding with either heaven or hell.
A just reward
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:12
Of course works is important, the epistle of St James tells us clearly "Faith without works is dead". But salvation comes from grace, not by works.
You cannot have faith without works.
Without faith, you are an unbeliever.
Unbelievers go to hell.
You're embarresing yourself!

Jesus said:
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matthew 16:27
What does "reward every man according to his works" mean to you?
Obviously, if your interpretation of a letter contradicts Jesus Himself, it isn't Jesus who is wrong, IT IS YOU.

Re: Verses to save.
Read what I said again, Jesus revealed Himself, dealt with the problem of original sin once and for all, extended salvation to gentiles, established His Church, and poured out His Holy Spirit. This is how he fulfilled the law. In other words, God made clean what was once unclean. It is by grace we are saved, not by workd, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 1). What you are doing is following works and then boasting about it.Originally posted by SalvationSeeker View PostDOES FULFILL EQUAL 'TAKE AWAY/DESTROY/REMOVE'?

Re: Verses to save.
We're tired of answering your faulty interpretations.
Obviously though, if they were given, or cleansed, directly by God, how could they be impure? Are you really this stupid?
Jesus doesn't need to follow His own laws, He once commanded a man to carry a mattress on the Sabbath, rememeber?
Rules are for mortals, not God.
Now, why don't you answer us for a change?

Re: Verses to save.
The book of Hebrews deals with this issue. It basically tells you that if you follow the law then you are accountable for your sins as the Old Covenant(Jews) have been. If you accept God's grace then you are saved. Also if you understood what Mosaic law was about you would also see that it was to keep the nation of Israel Holy which would eventually be the scene for Jesus' ministry and ultimate triumph over sin and death. Acts 10:10-15 10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. What do you think about this example?

Re: Verses to save.
It's your blasphemous interpretation of the supper which isn't in the Bible, Fish!
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood:
this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:25-32
^ Where does it say 'throw the law out the window?', it says that you will be judged by the LORD,
and that you will be condemned unless you let Him chastite you!
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Matthew 26:26-28
^ Jesus gave His sweet blood for our sins (ONE sacrifice, instead of hundreds of bulls) what does this have to do with doing away with the law?
If you haven't truly accepted Him (and true faith ALWAYS have works) then you'll be thrown into hell anyways.
That's what it means by "eateth and drinketh UNWORTHILY"! If you are not worthy of Jesus, His blood will be of no use to you!
Only he who follows Jesus is worthy of Him, He says so Himself and He also says:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17-18
ONCE AGAIN, HAS HEAVEN AND EARTH PASSED AWAY? YES OR NO?
