Let me first say that I am saved, and I follow Jesus with all of my heart.
Following that, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just reading this post has filled me with such a righteous anger. I'm going to try to keep this short and simple, but we'll see where it goes.
You are wrong on most accounts. YES, the bible does say that homosexuality is wrong, and as a christ follower, I believe this. HOWEVER, this does not mean that we exile those from society. Have you learned nothing from the teachings of Jesus? The Son of God who ate with tax collectors and consorted with the most unholiest of people? Jesus's clear message is hate the sin, love the sinner. Instead of beating people over the head with facts so outrageous because they are taken out of contex, try living like Jesus. Jesus is the only way, so don't try any other way. I pity you for your most awful understanding of God's wonderful word, but what makes me so righteously angry is the fact that there are people out there that don't believe in God and they will see this post. You can't honestly think that a post like this will help them in thier journey with god?
I suggest you emerse yourself in the presence of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus, and just learn how to live the right way, because this is so not it. I'll pray for you, and all the people you may have caused harm by posting something like this.
Love is the greatest atribute, as Jesus says, and this post is so clearly devoid of love.
As for anyone who happens to see this post, and you are an unbeliever, my heart just goes out to you. I am so sorry we have to apologize for people like this that claim to follow Jesus. I promise that these occurances are far fewer than the ones that show the truth. I hope you will be able to find someone who can actually make you see the good things in Jesus. Things like this just break my heart.

amen, this is a glorious sermon that rights all the wrongs in what many people consider to be spirituality. How can a decadant one ascend to god by looking into itself for guidance?! seems how there is original sin than any christian who relies on theyre conscience is on a road to holy fire for eternity

LGB youth are violent, they are in fights twice as often as normal kids.
LGB youth are sluts, compared to regular children they more than twice as likely to have had sex when younger than 13 (it means they are reverse pedophiles)
LGB youth are druggies, the majority of them have used drugs in the past month.
LGB youth are not actually LGB but choosing to whore themselves out to any gender and/or running away from their responsibilities as they are 3 times more likely than proper children to be pregnant or having impregnated someone else.

Hmm . . . This alphabet soup community of which you speak is "out there", whereas this forum is "in here".

We aren't hanging out in any lesbian coffee houses or gay bars making any comments whatsoever about your pals. We are posting written comments about what a certain book, i.e. the Bible, which has been given credence as a source for moral guidance for 20 centuries or so, has to say about the issue of homosexuality.

Since this all takes place on a screen, in a forum that someone has to access on their computers, it seems like an odd form of harassment that won't reach out and harass anybody unless they come here looking to be harassed.

And I would congratulate you on your moral fiber in "standing up" for something, but honey, this is the Internet after all, you can just as easily sit down. Nobody will know the difference.

I never called him a liar, I said that I hope it's not true and that I don't blindly beileve everything that I read. I never said that it was a lie or not true. I did say that, to me, the bible story is only a story.

Aslo, that last post was more of a joke and yes, what criminals do is wrong, harming someone else is wrong and they should be told that it's wrong. But they are allowed to believe in whatever they want, even if it's not Jesus, I don't believe in Jesus, but I do believe in loving and appreciating life, and I believe in equal treatment of others, and I believe in love.

Oh come on, were I have launched a personal attack against you. You're the one in the next thread calling Wash a liar!

Let's be reasonable here; what is the central message: every human, male, female, young and old is so utterly awful we ALL deserve to be damned to Hell for eternal torment for the crime of existing. BUT Jesus loves us unconditionally, so if we do what He tells us to do He will SAVE us from Hell.

How else can I help someone to reach Jesus if I don't tell them how awful they are?
