Which "Obscure" Verse in the New Testament...

Jews did not (and still do not) accept Jesus as the Messiah.

Here are a few of their reasons (from a Jewish website--if you want the exact address, let me know):
    • "Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies";
    • "Jesus did not embody the personal qualifications of the Messiah"
In short, Jesus wasn't what the Jews were expecting.

During the next coming of God incarnate, I'm afraid we, too, will have preconceived notions that God won't fulfill. "The Revelation to John" provides the most graphic example of such notions. In other words, when God comes again, He probably won't be what we expected.

HOWEVER, I still believe that God will fulfill some verse (or verses) in the New Testament during His next coming.

    My question...

Which verse outside of "The Revelation to John" do you think best describes the incarnate form that God will have during His next coming?

Wow--talk about quick replies. Under one minute from the time that I submitted the message.

Do you mean to tell me that the New Testament (outside of "The Revelation to John") does not contain any prophecies about God coming in incarnate form after Jesus?

I wholeheartedly disagree (but I will reserve my answer until later--I think it is more polite to allow others an opportunity to answer my question first).

I didn't say that at all. However, you asked for an opinion, not prophecy.

Re: Which "Obscure" Verse in the New Testament...

I’m surprised. I expected a flurry of quotations from the New Testament. Am I the only person who knows at least one prophesy outside of “The Revelation to John” about the incarnate form of God during His next coming?

I’ll give you some hints about the verse that I have in mind. However, I would still like to know other possible answers to my original question.

            HINT #1

…out with the old world order

            1. Aristotle Onassis

Aristotle Onassis, was a self-made billionaire who had overcome great odds in his quest for success.

When his son, Alexander, died in a plane crash in 1973, Onassis was devastated. The small plane he was piloting crashed on an Athens, Greece runway. An experienced aviator, Alexander ran a division of Olympic Airways. Onassis never believed that the crash was an accident, and hinted that either the Central Intelligence Agency or the Greek military junta in power at the time was behind it.

The grief-stricken Onassis rapidly declined in health. He died on March 15, 1975. (Well, that’s one way to get rid of him.)

            2. Jimmy Hoffa

Jimmy Hoffa was the son of a poor coal miner. During the Depression, Hoffa dropped out of high school a year before graduation to help his family who was suffering financial hardship.

He took a job as a stock boy at Kroger’s, a Detroit-area grocery store. At the age of 17, he organized a strike with four other workers against Kroger’s. From these roots, Hoffa built the Teamsters Union, the largest labor organization in the United States.

In 1975, Hoffa disappeared, and his death remains one of the great unsolved crimes of the last century. (…and another way to get rid of somebody)

            3. Howard Hughes

In his era, Howard Hughes was one of the richest people in the world.

When he was eleven years old, Hughes erected Houston's first wireless broadcast system. At 12, Hughes was the first boy in Houston to have a "motorized" bicycle, which he had built himself. He produced films, including an Academy Award winner for Best Director. He founded Hughes Aircraft and owned TWA airlines.

He is perhaps best remembered as an eccentric, reclusive billionaire. Hughes' paranoia continued to grow during his later years. (Well, that’s another way to get rid of somebody.) In 1976, he apparently died of heart failure.

…and in with the new world order

Bill Gates (Mr. Microsoft) bought a large stake in Pacific Ethanol (symbol: PEIX) when the share price was high, and many normal shareholders got sucked in by the "Bill Gates" name.

Gates didn't even pay the market price when he bought his PEIX shares.
"The price per share of the transaction was a 20% discount versus the price on the market when the deal was announced."
Then, (of course) PEIX's share price crashed.

Gates sold some shares at the stock’s all-time-low price, presumably to make the normal shareholders feel better.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Gates got rich by buying high and selling low.

There is no "maybe" about that. You're obviously some kind of nutjob who plagiarizes from other websites, then posts it here in order to act like some kind or oracle.

There you go again, Pastor Ezekiel, focusing on the contents of the collection basket.

Luke 12:29: "And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink".

Matthew 6:33: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

In the meantime, where is your answer to the original question? I asked a question about Biblical verses. I hoped for an answer about Biblical verses. So far, I've read many (proud) words in replies to my original question, but no Biblical verses.

                  Leviticus 19:15
In righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

                  John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

                  1 Corinthians 2:15
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

                  1 Corinthians 5:12-13
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

                  1 Corinthians 6:2-3
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

1 Tim 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Jesus will have white hair, brass feet, a sword sticking out of his mouth (I imagine it will be retractable so he can talk), and fire will shoot out of his eyes.

I think he will be hard to miss.
