In HIS Image???

I know that Genesis 1:27 says "So God created man in His own image, In the image of God created He him; Male and female created He them."

So does God have to deal with all the nasty body substances that we find gross? ... and since God created them ... they must be Godly instead of gross. Even snot and boogers, phlegm, perspiration, vomit, urine, feces, diarrhea, pus, blood, menses, earwax, toejam, dandruff, ejaculate and saliva!

Since we are made in His own image, logic then tells us that even HE, Our God has to take a healthy dump, Lift a cheek to let go some flatulence, pass water, belch, burp, cough, sneeze, wheeze, hack, choke, sniffle, yawn and snore. I used to think these things were somewhat embarrassing or disgusting, but, who am lowly I to question Our Maker??

Let us rejoice with Him on these Gifts from God.

That's a good question. This verse would lead me to believe that He does.

Isaiah 16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.

God farts but it sounds like a harp.

I wonder though if perhaps many of our bodily emanations and discharges are a reaction of our bodies to the non-heavenish environment we live in.

For instance, eye crud we experience is a result of dust in the air. I presume heaven is pretty much dust free, so if you were there, maybe no eye crud. And regarding nasalous spew, usually the humidity is off, or maybe too pollen is in the air, so maybe in heaven, no one ever has a runny nose. So too, our food, there is always a certain irreducible percentage of indigestible whatever in it, and perhaps heavenly vittles are 100% nutritious (assuming you even need to eat there).

So maybe there is less of the 'stuff' and more that reflects the pristine and, um, heavenly atmosphere of heaven.

My son's farts sound like a machine gun.

I wish his could sound like a harp. It would at least be a pleasant sound.
