Here is a common objection I have read from some readers on the term perfection.

I wanted to write a refutation to it.

I believe the correct translation of perfect is mature in Christ, you can't honestly think we are literally perfect, Bible says we are all sinners, that is why we need Christ, if we weren't Christ died for nothing.

Okay, so perfect doesn't mean perfect. It allegedly means mature.

Please see Romans 12:2.
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Does that mean God's will is "mature?" Of course not. It's the same Greek word.

See Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Again, it's the same Greek word telios. I seriously doubt you would call Jesus a mature tabernacle, would you?

Perfection only comes through Christ, otherwise 1 John would be a totally contradictory mess.

1 John 1
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 3

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Stop picking and choosing what the word means when it suits your agenda!
