The importance of following God's commands literally

Friends, a long time ago, the Lord gave us a book of instructions called the Bible. Liberal false Christians would have us believe that some of the Lord's words are out of date, and we should only follow the commands that seem nice to us. It doesn't work like that. The Bible doesn't have a sell-by date. Here's what happens when you try to 'pick-and-mix' the Lord's commands according to what suits you:

    1 Samuel 15
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass...
8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,
11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night...
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king...

When the Lord tells you to annihilate someone, He wants them annihilated. If He wants you to spare their animals, He'll let you know, it is not up to you to interpret His words. To change the word of the Lord is rebellion equal to witchcraft. This goes for all False Christians.
    Have a nice day!
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

True, but God is not telling us to go and annhilate nations today. That was part of His divine plan at the time to set up and keep Holy the nation of Israel as well as dishing out just judgement for those nations that were annhilated.

We are commanded to "Love one another, as Jesus has loved us". And Jesus loved us so much that he laid down His life for us.

      Jesus was no whimpering pansy!

The Lord has set forth His rules and we are to obey them simple as that. Are you going to be one that ignores Gods wishes and ends up in Lucifers lawn darts championchip with your upturned rump as the target?

This is a matter of following the rules and being a good follower of Biblical law. This is why Landover Baptists go straight to Heaven when Jesus kills them. He loves them enough to call them to His Kingdom to worship Him for eternity for their undying faithfulness to the Word. Praise Jesus I can't wait!
God bless America, the Second Amendment and the Constitution. God bless the United States Marine Corps and all who fight for Jesus in third world cess pools. God bless the GOP and all they stand for, Truth, Honesty and the American people. God bless Landover Baptist Church and all True Christians™ the world over. Curses to our Muslim President, his failure is our Salvation.

While it is true that Jesus temporarily died for our sins, I cannot imagine where you get this notion that "God is not telling us to go and annhilate(sic) nations today". Once again your doctrine is false. Jesus Himself hand picked GWB as our President, then instructed GWB to conduct war in iraquistan and annihilate all mudslimes from the face of the earth.

You false Christians who whine about "love" all the time are responsible for the creation of the hippie cult. They got the idea from YOU imbeciles that Jesus advocated "free love", which leads to fornicatorist orgies and the spread of narcotic usage. So thanks very much, false christians, for helping satan do his dirty work.

IF you only follow the KJV1611 Bible, would you please show me the part where Jesus picked GWB as His president? Excuse me I'm laughing so hard...

It is pretty obvious that JESUS appointed GODLY President Bush over the wishes of the majority of voters. What else could it be but Divine Intervention?

Leave it to a disgusting harlot like Mrs. Van Hellfire to read Brother Temperance's inspired preaching from God's Perfect Word and then concentrate on whether there's a membrum virile around to satisfy her depraved lust.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
