What is the difference between backslidden and false conversion

(First off, I hope you godly peeps will understand that I am on heavy pain meds for my sad tooth (generic of course)(that I had to come up with the money to pay, after years of paying into the system, and I am taking the drug that Dr.Green was hooked on ER until my sad dental insurance willatleast cover 50% $&^%&$&$#^#) (And wait till Tuesday to get fixed. I wish I was an illegal, yeah, and had enough faith to be healed!)( Go Mike Hucksuck)(down with Socialism(Obama)(devil) that is against God's word)

To the point...back in my younger days I always would here of the word "backslidden" and not so much a "false convert," As I do now...

Okay.. Hebrews 6:4-6

4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

What does this mean?? They knew once and gave up like Lucifer? Notice this is the NT..after grace.

Also..sorry. Not sure of the verse, but the dog returning to their vomit.. ??Would not that verse be in context with a 'backslidden person?'

Just trying to work it out. How does one know if they are saved? They will mess up/sin. I am sure, but does that mean that are backslidden or a false convert? Are they saying that Jesus' work on the cross was not enough for man kind? Where do we draw the line of works/hopes/grace/works? When do we say that Jesus did not do enough.. If god so loved the World... ? Why would he go through the trouble for all of that to just send people to hell again? Are backslidden people like Michael Sweet and Scott Stapp going to go to hell? Or are they saved by the lamb?

Why they put Jesus in a box... I will never know.

Many have said to me that the gospel is simple. I must be just dumb....

There are several things deeply wrong about this thread. First of all, you are an empty-headed female. As such you should NOT be attempting to teach.

1 Timothy 2:11-15
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing.

Secondly, you are not only and empty-headed female, but you are on the drugs (I can tell!).

I can tell you from personal experience that it is unwise to attempt to deliver a sermon of any kind while under the influence of even the most legal of medications. I recall the time last Spring when I had an infection (of some kind) and my private physician had prescribed some muscle relaxants. Long story short; I delivered a rather colorful 3 hour sermon on personal hygiene in the Bible (Deuteronomy 23:13-14) that had the congregation quite....concerned.

Don't do the drugs, kids.

Hold up!!

There are many factors that contribute to self-deception and lead to a false conversion. However, in most cases of false conversion, the person has either not been called to salvation by the Father or they have not followed the prescribed methods in order to receive the holy spirit and become a son of God.

*sniff Calvinism. Jesus is all about Africa.And the Himalayans that I will visit some day and share hummus with them...
