With so many disasters, plagues and wars in the world, one can't help but feel we are on the very precipice of the end times.
People are turning to psychics, astrologers and democrats for answers, and now the Mayans.
The good news is that the world is coming to an end, but the bad news is we can't tell when.
What can be asserted is that the Mayans are wrong (and also extinct) and that should tell you something right there.
There is no need to launch into an exhaustive investigation of the Mayan calendar in order to disprove the 2012 apocalypse.
Why listen to crazed doomsayers, charlatans and the superstitious when a much simpler answer can be found in the Holy Bible?
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. -Matthew 24:36
JESUS tells us that nobody except one of GOD's three personalities knows exactly when the end will come.
This means that we should abandon crazy theories like 2012 and be watchful for the signs of CHRIST's soon return on a cloud of glory!
Signs like wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6), like those started by Obama, and earthquakes in diverse places (Matthew 24:7) such as Japan!
JESUS told those listening to his speech at the Mount of Olives, "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34)
Pay no attention to those who would rattle your faith by pointing out that JESUS assured His listeners at the Mount of Olives that the end of the world would come during their lifetime, yet here we still are thousands of years later.
They cannot prove that there still isn't a member of that generation alive somewhere on this planet today. It's not inconceivable, as the Bible tells the stories of men who lived for hundreds of years!
CHRIST is coming soon! Let us be watchful and ready!
