The Bible says you won't recognize him, as he'll have a new body:

1 Corinthians 15:35-40 "35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another."

You won't even know who he is, or be able to find him, because he'll have a new name:

Revelation 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

I do read the bible. Have I read every word of it yet? No. Do I remember every word I have ever read? No. Why do you dislike me. I believe in Jesus. I believe Jesus was raised from the dead. I believe Jesus is the son of god. Doesn't that make us brothers in Christ? Or no because I don't agree with everything you say? And I meant dead in as cease to exist.

I believe you did right here. I found it rather poignant and would like to borrow it someday for the hordes of unsaved that wash up on our shores.

Lol. It's pointless. I would hate to be some people on judgement day. Especially the ones that think they have some special place in heaven but spread hate and promote killing gods people. You'll be happy for a minute until you stand face to face with our creator. When ya finally figure out that hate isn't what god wants. Just hope it's not to late for people like that. God loves people. Satan does the opposite. I think you might have the 2 confused.

It's not that you're judging. We know we can do that. It's that you are doing it hypocritically that I am concerned about.

Is this place about trying to prove everyone wrong or actually about our god and lord and savior Jesus Christ? Even when I say I love someone and hope I see him in heaven you attempt to argue with me and say I'm wrong about something. Lol I don't see love here. I tell people I love them and no response or I'm still wrong for loving. That can't be a good sign.

It's not that you're judging. We know we can do that. It's that you are doing it hypocritically that I am concerned about.

I'm not judging. I'm just stating what I believe might happen to some people. I don't want it to happen to them or am not advocating for that to happen. 2 different things.

ALL churches in the United States are in essence government funded (through their tax-free status, which extends to clergy as well). Don't you feel better knowing that your money is supporting those who work so hard to bring the love of God (Old Testament style) to the sinners near you?

Where did you get the idea that I ignore scriptures? Assume? Seems like there's a lot of that going on around here. Everything I have seen and heard on this site seems like an effort to drive people away from Jesus. So only logical conclusion is it's the work of satan. And government funded churches is a horrible idea. Then the government can control them by withholding the funds. I see the truth now.

Your posts show it clearly, such as your claim that Christians don't die (and the "oh, but that's not what I meant" dance after Scripture showing your error was presented) or your claim that you'll be able to see your friends in Heaven (where the Bible says you won't) for just two recent examples.

The only "Jesus" that these people want to drive others away from is the "Jesus" that exists only in your own mind (the one who loves everyone, including homosexuals), as opposed to Jesus as the King James Bible presents Him.
