That must be why I have over 13,000 posts here.

Here is you responding to a comment in a thread asking if God is color blind. And this is you. So why have you went off topic?
I did no such thing, God is always on topic.

I'm lazy you say? How about I say that you are the one that is lazy?
Your debating skillz are off the scale! Your mother must be so proud.

Only because you so desperately want it to.

It sounds to me like God chose to create a range of similar animals starting with a particular base type. Do you think that the Mercedes E550 "evolved" from the E350? Of course not. The manufacturer created the E350, then thought of changes to make, and made the E550 to serve different needs. Likewise, God may have started with one type of feline, then created others on that base model to live in different places or meet different needs.

But if you're desperate to see "evolution" in that, I suppose you will.

I'm not going to really cover how much it rain because you and others would just use conjecture to explain it away. Most of you will use the "catch all" phrase,"God can do anything", to explain the rain, and the evaporation of the water.

Come to think of it, how is it that, that water evaporated, and the oceans didn't?....Hmmmmm
I thought you weren't going to do that.

Asking a question is not a proof. You were going to prove mathematically that the Flood didn't happen. Get to it.

Forget the number of animals, you not knowing this proves my point about the whole story. So lets not dwell on them, but the data for the Ark is in there, which is what I asked for from you. How many times do I have to ask and explain why I want you, personally to give them to me?
You have a point? No, you don't have a point.

Dimensions of the Ark are in Genesis 6. Why do you have such difficulty finding them?

15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

What's wrong with you that you can't read this for yourself?

Noah spent 100 years building the Ark.

You'd know this if you paid attention while reading Genesis 5-8.

As for how the animals moved about? If God created the entire universe in six days, what makes you think He can't shuffle a few critters around?

You really don't get the concept of an all-powerful, all-knowing God at all, do you?

All sloths are built for life in the treetops. They spend nearly all of their time aloft, hanging from branches with a powerful grip aided by their long claws. (Dead sloths have been known to retain their grip and remain suspended from a branch.) Sloths even sleep in trees, and they sleep a lot—some 15 to 20 hours every day.

That sounds like evolution to me. But lets not go down that road because I'm not a biologist, and clearly your're not. You need that kind of in depth knowledge to properly explain and discuss this.

That's my point. The first says how long it rained. The second says how long the water sat on the earth before it started to recede. They are describing different things.

No, but you do need to try a different tack if you want me to supply data that aren't recorded in the Bible (the exact number of animals on the Ark).

It is obvious that you are new to the net, and new to boards. Because if you weren't, you wouldn't make such statement. Threads rarely stay on topic, if you wasn't new to this medium, you would know that. Here is an example of you going off topic. Here is you responding to a comment in a thread asking if God is color blind.

Be honest, you never read a Bible, you never even touched one! Stop believing only the fluffy bunny parts of the Bible and start reading the entire Bible!
So why have you went off topic? You could have easily told this person to stay on topic, but instead to chose to go off topic yourself.

You people make it too easy.

Since I am a nice guy and you are clearly very lazy, I looked it up for you:

Genesis 6:15 "And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits."
I'm lazy you say? How about I say that you are the one that is lazy? Because if you weren't lazy you would have read through the posts and found my reason for asking him to supply it. Now I realize this thread is 50 pages long,(sarcasm)and I agree that it is too much to read through all of them. But you can go back one page.

So stop being lazy, read one page back, and see the genesis (no pun intended) of this conversation.

    Happy now?
No, because you went off topic.

Clean animals were by 7s, and unclean by 2s. Can't you read?

I specifically asked for the Ark dimensions, did I not?
Look 'em up in your Bible.
You keep using this same old line while showing that it applies to you more than it does me. So lets be clear what I want. I want the Ark measurements LxWxH,I also want what value you are going to use for the animals. I can't ask it any simpler.
Look it up in the Bible.

I have no idea how "kinds" was defined, so I have no idea how many animals were fit onto the Ark.

Now do I need to explain volume to you to show why I need this data?
No, but you do need to try a different tack if you want me to supply data that aren't recorded in the Bible (the exact number of animals on the Ark).

Genesis 7:17 and Genesis 7:24 are the same story.

It RAINED for 40 days. The waters PREVAILED ON THE EARTH 150 days. It did not RAIN for 150 days.
Not so fast, these don't read the same.

2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
I ask again, which value do you want me to use? And don't dodge it by pointing out an insignificant use of a synonym.

Follow into Genesis 8 and you will see that the waters only began to recede after 40+150 days, and they were in the ark a full year in total.

Yes,the Catholic Church is one. I'm surprised that you have this view looking at all of what they have done in the name of God. Can you edify me on this matter? What is the difference between the Pope, and a pastor/preacher? They both seems to be speaking for God.
The Pope claims to be God's infallible representative on Earth. A pastor tells people what the Bible says, and does not make things up and put them in God's mouth.

Ok, now I see. You are taking up his fight. I really don't have to go that deep, but what I do need is the numbers you want me to use for the dimensions of the Ark,the number of species there are/were, and which flood story are we going to use. (Genesis Chapter 7 verse 17) or (Genesis Chapter 7 verse 24)

The reason I want you to supply them so the claim I used bad data in my calculations. And one last question, are we going to be addressing ships ballast systems and operations?
