Most pubic schools hold a Sadie Hawkins dance every Fall. This is a dance where the girls are encouraged to become harlots and ask the boys to dance. I certainly don't want my son Skeeter to go out with some forward gal who acts like a street walker. And I think a good Christian woman has no business initiating contact with the opposite sex. But in the interest of allowing open debate I decided to create this Godly poll.

Ye Gads. With all due respect to your ordination, Pastor, is it possible that this would require too broad of an interpretation of Romans to carry? Isn't a dance invitation a cultural inclination rather than a lusty, unnatural, vile affection risking fire and... barbs?

Well, don't you think that would be far too forward? Personally, that would turn me off. My impression was that Godly women had an arsenal of subtle skills that could draw a man's attention without he even being aware of it.

For example, I'll wager that sister Thumper never had to ask a man outright for anything. But I also suspect that she never lacked for attention either, by using her Godly skills in a natural and Holy way

"Gender role reversal" is no laughing matter, nor is it a "broad interpretation" of Rom.1:26-27. Dancing hottens up the blood in the best of times. Encouraging females to rise above their station and disrupt the natural order of things as God created is NOT HARMLESS.

There have been studies showing that women who ask men out on dates, or ask them to dance, or even open a car door when there is a man around are much more likely to later choose a life of lesbianism.

There needs to be further study to discover whether these activities actually cause lesbianality, or if they are simply the earliest indicators of latent lesbertarian tendencies.

Either way, if you see any of theses behaviors in your friends or loved ones, I would recommend immediate involuntary enrollment in Betty Bower's BASH program for the victim. It worked for me!

I am a living, breathing example that homosexuality can be cured. And if my genitalia had not been horribly mangled during a particularly intense aversion therapy session, I would be married and producing little soldiers for Christ as we speak!

The problem with Sadie Hawkins dances is that there are always too many girls there. The ones that didn't get dates end up going alone to see who else managed to hook up. You see a lot of the girls dancing with each other and the female chaparones encouraging them. It's like the gateway to lesbianism.
