My friend recently caught her young son playing a so called "video game" which he had borrowed from a friend at school.

The "game" appeared to involved the killing of simulated people with simulated guns.

My friend immediately began to chastise the boy, only to be stopped in her tracks when he exclaimed "But they are atheists. The enemy are all atheists!"

She allowed him to continue playing for some time, only later calling me to ask advice.

What say the elders?

Can you give me the name of the game i can telll you if it really involvs killing atheists.

They don't have to be atheists, they could be homosexuals or witches too. While there's nothing morally wrong with killing these people, I still don't know if it makes it okay to play video games.

Why not spend that time praising GOD? Or petitioning law makers to make it legal to kill these folks, so we could actually go out and do it?

How come i find it funny that people take it so seriously that they had to chastise and whatever everyone who's under the influence of violent and or whatever videogames. This very much reminds me of movies where one lone wanderer/person ventures deep into a settlement so peaceful that the peacve was a real tried up hard lie. This very much reminds me of it, do you really think that god will still accept killing people even though it's for a good cause? Why yes, yes he will, and you will all be damned to hell if you think the solution to the problem is eradication.

I think your friend should be commended for allowing the child to become an expert marksman and practice on simulated heathens. However, the boy should be transitioned to real firearms by the age of 12 at the latest. With GOD's will, he will be ready to do some real killing for God's favorite country (USA!) by the time he can sneak into the US Marine Corps at 16 years of age.
