There is a fact that I cannot deny, and it is not even an hoax made to defame the True Church founded by Jesus.

Many of you may know the godly St. Augustine of Hippo, one of the greatest writers and philosophers God even had. It is to him that we owe many great things the Catholic Church had today, including the suggestion that Priests should remain chaste. However, before he repented from his sins, he did something that many godless modernists find "unforgivable": he married a twelve-year old girl.

We should however notice that he did that before repenting for his actions, therefore it shouldn't matter anymore, since he also disowed her and her son, like any good Christian man would do with the cause of his own sin. Therefore, there is no reason to condemn such man that hasn't been guilty for centuries.

Augustine is burning in Hell today for many reasons, not the least of which was that he was a Catholic. But as long as he married the 12 year old girl, having sex with her was not a sin. The Bible does not have a minimum age for sex with children, as long as you are married to them.

Just because he followed Abraham's example and he was righteous in keeping his word to God by casting his son and concubine out, doesn't mean I am going to start reciting Our Fathers, dog!

Friends (and the papist), the main takeaway from this thread is that Romeo admitted that at least one Catholic has had sex with kids. This is a new development for him and a step in the right direction (i.e. towards Jesus).

Pear thief Augustine is an irrelevance. He's not in the Bible and didn't write any part of the Bible, so he is of no concern to Christians.

Does that mean we have spelled the word ´hypocrisy´ wrong all that time and it should actually be ´hippocrisy´?
