  • God Smites Another Catholic Church

    Some mayor friends way up in North Dakota have been calling and wondering why Catholic churches catch fire when Protestant ones do not. I try to go lightly on the preaching but the reason for these fires is too obvious to miss: God wants to rid the world of Catholic churches.

    The most recent one was in Hankinson, ND, a town of 1,000 people. The Catholic church had a fire inside that left the shell of the building still standing. The inside is not usable. Nearby is a healthy and safe Protestant church. Obviously, God wants the Catholics to become Protestants and move over there.

    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    At the risk of sounding controversial, would getting rid of the idols and ceasing to call their freak show "Father" this and "Father" that but retaining the "catholic" label be enough to assuage God's displeasure? So far the papists seem to have gotten off pretty lightly. Of course, they'd have to not worship the pope – virtually impossible given the way they fawn over him.

    There are also "Anglo-catholics" occupying buildings like this

    ( LARGER VERSION HERE IF YOU WANT A CLOSER LOOK AT THE IDOLS )

    but they didn't build them, simply dislodged them from Rome and substituted their own people for the false priesthood. They probably say that now they're just statues, rather than whatever they were supposed to be when built. God has not smitten this particular building – but should the statue-encrustation be removed?

      Good observations, Sister Mitza. Why God allows so many to remain we cannot understand. I think He will set them ablaze in His own good time. He did a nice job on Notre Dame in Paris but now the Pope has rebuilt it.

        Well. it is little wonder why the is busily smiting the Cathyolicks. Anybody who saw even a few seconds of that over-done, garish re-dedication of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris knows that, for them, it is all about putting on a show, with nothing that really shows a true dedication to Almighty God! How many statues are plastered on the front of that church? Too many to count — that is most certain! But that does matter to the disobedient Cathyolicks? No, not at all!

        Exodus 20:4-5:

        4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

        5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the thy am a jealous , visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

        And, another thing that the hates is that they think their priest can forgive them of their sins. Clearly, made the Truth very clear here:

        Matthew 6:9,12:

        9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

        12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

        Nowhere does it say that the priest forgives sin, but yet the Cathyolicks — again — proudlly disobey the . And looking at the video below, this scenario is inviting even more sinful behaviour. Anybody can put 2 + 2 together and see where this little charade is going to end up — in the priest's bedroom! Stand by for more righteous smiting!
