I used to be catholic, thank jesus i recently converted. Yet, I am still scared if I am saved or not Are there any ways of redding yourself from such a demonic cult? I have scrubbed myself with salt and cheese graders while reading my King James, as well as reading all the jack chick comics multiple times and yet i still feel the evil grip of such a satanic religion (if you can call it a religion)

Maybe you could start believing in Him and not being such a god mocking maggot.

    Just sayin'
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

      Then you're not.

1 John 5:13: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Which part of "know" needs to be "interpreted correctly"?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Brother Levi, I'm sure it was an accident, but you forgot to capitalize God. You know what that means. That's right, Extra large tithe and a private rebuking session with Pastor Zeke!
        Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Eliot I am sure it was a mistake on Levi's part. He has been involved in a clean up search party for 2 days. He is just a little tired.

You must be one of them pagan, goddess-worshipping pedophiles that Pastor Deacon Fred was talking about. Did you pay to hear the message of salvation?

              Re: Catholic

It's difficult for me to gauge how serious you are from the tone of your writing, but as someone who was raised Catholic I am willing to share some of my own story.

Part of the problem of being enculturated Catholic is that in may ways it is more than a religion; it is an ethnicty. Just as a Jewish person can repent and accept Jesus as his Savior but still have a taste for gelflte fish, so a Catholic can accept Christ's cleansing blood but still long for the lingering fragrance of incense or the comforting drone of a hundred "Hail Mary's" being mumbled mindlessly.

Me, I still have to eat fish filet sandwiches on Fridays because of the old "no meat" rule. (I'm sure it's not because of any addictive substances McDonald's uses. ) I still want to cross myself when I hear a siren because that's what the nuns taught us to do for the sake of those who might be hurt or in danger. And don't get me started on my fear of penguins!

The best thing to do is read the Bible. You may begin to notice many discrepancies with Catholic dogma. You may begin to notice a lot of things about the Bible, but do not desist. Keep reading, and throw out your grandmother's rosary. Unless, of course, it's valuable. Then you may pawn it.

              Helpfully Yours,

              Handmaiden
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

You have to pray harder to get rid of your frea.

                Job 15:4
Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
