Re: 11 deadly sins of the Catholic Church
1 Corinthians 3:14–15: "If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire."
1 Peter 3: 19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Part of the problem is that you don't make much sense.

Hey alter boy, there's no purgatory in the Bible. The Bible makes it clear there is a Heaven and a Hell and nothing in between.

Re: 11 deadly sins of the Catholic Church
How am I trolling. All I did was post a direct quote from an article from a real Catholic website, and state some things about the Catholic belief in purgatory. Is this so much different from your postings about modern events and Biblical interpretations? Why can't I speak here as a Catholic?

I don't think you read your citation clearly enough!it masks the real nature of what is occurring: priestly homosexual activity with under-aged males.

See, the few priests who are even doing this stuff it's usually not with prepubescent boys!
That is like going to a Chinese site to confirm the kidde toys they make are not toxic.

In significant ways the media's coverage of the scandal has been misleading or inaccurate. For example, the media reported the scandal almost exclusively in terms of "pedophile priests." This is not correct.
According to the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV, pedophilia is sexual attraction to children who have not yet arrived at puberty (DSM-IV, 528). While there have been priests who were pedophiles, the overwhelming majority of cases involved a disorder called ephebophilia, a term that refers to sexual attraction to minors who have arrived at puberty (i.e., teenagers). But we shouldn't give a false emphasis to the clinical term ephebophilia, because it masks the real nature of what is occurring: priestly homosexual activity with under-aged males.

Of course we're close-minded. We're all Christians, and we're here for the same reason.Originally posted by James Peter View PostI can't believe how CLOSE-MINDED you Protestants are!
You Catholics are close-minded, too.
Did you mean closed minded? That would be pretty insulting, considering the source.

I can't believe how CLOSE-MINDED, BIGOTED, and INTOLERANT you Protestants are! It's ridiculous! In the Catholic Church, we are taught to love everyone. We are a very open, and accepting group. You have to understand that the Catholic Church is the first and only True Church in the world, and that anyone who goes against it goes to hell, including all of you!

Welcome to our Godly Forum™. Thank you for taking time out from your sodomite activities with Mel Gibson and joining us. Why not go to the introduction section and tell us about yourself.
How many times were you diddled by your priest while growing up ?
