    Immaculate conception deception

    I discovered something interesting today! I was discussing today's absurd Holy Day of Obligation with a Catlick co-worker... he'd come in late today because he had to attend church today. Basically today is December 8 and all Catlicks are required to attend church to observe "the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception". Who cares, right? The Bible speaks of the virgin birth, after all.

    Well, I was blown away when I was told that no... immaculate conception in this context refers to Mary herself. They believe that she is free from original sin, from the point of her conception. Wait. What? I thought this was supposed to be about Jesus' birth. Nope... apparently, Catlicks believe Mary did not need Salvation. Also, this wasn't official dogma until Poop Prius IX made it so in 1854. Before this, it was ok to take it or leave it, I guess.

    How can 17.4% of the world believe such idiocy, with no proof to back it up, just on the say so of one very fallible human? I just don't get it! Does this man look like the supreme leader of the Church on earth, one step from Jesus himself?



    What keeps Catlicks from waking up and just walking away from the stupidity of their religion???

      We all know that catholics are ignorant, uneducated sinners. Why are you so shocked and surprised at their wickedness? They bow down to idols on a daily basis! Of COURSE they're going to believe in absolute stupidity!! They just don't have the Holy Spirit in them.

          It's more a disbelief that so many could sustain such extreme levels of stupidity without, by sheer weight of it all, falling back into something not quite so blatantly idiotic. I don't expect many of them will ever break free and find the real Jesus, as written about in God's only Word, the King James Bible of 1611. Satan has too firm a grip on most of them... but Catholicism?

          I mean, if one wants to go to Hell, why be a Catholic? It's so full of rules, meaningless drivel, and oppression! No... if I wanted to go to Hell, I'd rather be an atheist. (For one thing, it's the least expensive option.)

              I think the reason that so many God haters choose Catholicism is because not only do they hate God, but they want to molest little boys. I know atheists molest little boys too, but they haven't institutionalized pedophilia the way the Catholics have.
