      Why? So many reasons, but mostly because it's unbiblical.
      The right direction? Jesus and the King James 1611 Bible.

          How is the King James better than the one I use, the New American Standard?

              The New American Standard is an inaccurate, biased translation. King James Version 1611, on the other hand, is the unadulterated Word of God. NAS is also dumbed down to the fourth grade reading level. If you're going to read that, you might as well just pull up the LEGO version of the Bible on the Internet.

                  I grew up with many friends of the Catholic faith. They are big stabbers in the back and I would not trust them for miles!
