    Who Would Jesus Torture?

With all this namby pamby about torture, I think it is time for True
Christians™ to point out some facts about Jesus. Jesus would torture people from several groups.

First, Jesus would go after the rectums of Jews. The Jews killed him so he would take revenge.

Second, Jesus would torture homers. If they said, "Oh please, I might like someone from the other sex, I just haven't met one yet." Jesus would not fall for it. He would torture them until they changed.

Third, Jesus would make atheists suffer. They would cry in pain until they said, "I love you, Jesus."

So, when liberals whine about the CIA torturing terrorists, lets not forget Jesus was a tough dude.

Numerous religious voices have been amplifying the findings from the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee Democrats’ report on enhanced interrogation techniques...
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Re: Who Would Jesus Torture?

Well, if you think about it, Jesus was tortured, so following the golden rule you would think that he would torture all who don't follow His Word.
Things are going to get worse before they get better.

All who fail to take advantage of the opportunity to seek salvation through Jesus are to be tortured for all eternity. The Lake of Fire, which knows no quenching, holds billions and has room for plenty more

        Re: Who Would Jesus Torture?

I always figured Jesus to be more the type to hand off the torture to a third party, sort of how the US used to do with Egypt before going into the torture business for ourselves. In fact, Jesus has the ultimate torture chamber already prepared for all those who don't satisfy the requirements to receive His unconditional love. That way, He can look on from Heaven as the sinners are brutally raped, smashed, burned, stretched, starved, and sawed for all eternity and say, "I told you you should have loved Me!"
        II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Re: Who Would Jesus Torture?

Back when God was in charge, we didn't baby our enemies. King David, for example, made sure that the Ammonites wouldn't be suicide bombing any of his subjects by torturing them all to death:

And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick-kiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. 2 Samuel 12:31

I'm tired of people like Barack HUSSEIN Obama claiming to be Christians, yet not following God's lead by supporting the torturing of our enemies.

            Re: Who Would Jesus Torture?

The entire premise of Salvation© is based on torture. Obey God or spend ETERNITY being tortured down in hell.

            Daniel 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

            Matthew 13:41-42
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

            Matthew 18:8-9
If thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

            Matthew 22:13
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

            Matthew 25:41, 46
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. ... And these shall go away into everlasting punishment.

            Mark 9:43-48
... into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

            Luke 16:22-24
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

            John 5:28-29
The hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

            2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction.

            Revelation 14:10-11
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever.

            Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

            Revelation 20:14-15
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
God endorses torture. That's proof of His love for us.

              Hello Mayor Hold.

I do not like thinking about Jesus torturing people but I think He was OK with sending out His disciples to do torture things look at Luke 10:19 it says:

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I think that walking on people can be considered torture unless they are small oriental women then it is nice.

              Thank you.

I don't believe Jesus would torture anyone. He's loving and caring and upon His return, He would just ignore those who betrayed Him and those who have no faith. That would be a far more hurtful punishment.

Hey, crazy idea here I know, just go with it for a minute:

The ONLY source we have for information about Jesus is the Bible, right? So, why not see what the Bible says about Jesus when He returns?

Revelaton 19:11-16 "11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

So "loving and caring", while He slaughters 1/3 of humanity.

If ignoring someone is the worst punishment, why do you ignore the REAL Jesus as depicted in the Bible?

One group I'm sure Jesus would torture are liberal non judgmental "Christians". For example, he would twist the ear off this woman.

She thinks pregnant college students at Christian universities who become pregnant should not have to choose between having the baby and continuing their education. That is, in her view they should be able to do both.

                          Have at her, Jesus:
