Pundits say we are right now experiencing a national crisis. Different sides are shouting at each other. There was violence at the Capital. It's the perfect moment to hear reassuring words from our President. The setting in the Cathedral projects a steadiness and hopefulness.
The President must not make his speech there political. Instead, he could begin by reassuring voters their country will survive even though the next President stole the election from the people. The President they wanted was not given the job, Trump could tell those watching, but the country must not give up hope. The one voters wanted may well be the President again soon.
