As True Christians, we know the Bible inside and out. It has given us everything we need to know in order to be saved. WE do not need to be convinced that the Bible is the whole truth, but unfortunately, there are nosy skeptics out there who can't be satisfied with the pleasant sense of security and contentment we True Christians experience by having the absolute 100% truth about everything in the universe. They insist on poking at the Bible, looking for one little thing that they think will trip us Christians up and show the so-called 'contradictions' and 'holes' in the Holy Bible. (It's HOLY Bible, not HOLEY Bible!)
One such case is the one of the so-called 'missing years' of JESUS' life. The scriptures beautifully and vividly explain the details of the invisible insemination of Mary by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18), JESUS' birth during the reign of Herod the Great when Cyerinius was governor of Syria* (Matthew 2:1 and Luke 2:1), followed by Joseph taking Mary and JESUS to Egypt** to escape Herod (Matthew 2:14), and then Herod dying and an angel sending Joseph, Mary and JESUS back to Israel (Matthew 2:20).
Then, for some unknown but undoubtedly good and holy reason, GOD chose to omit the entire adolescence and young adulthood of our precious savior. The Bible then picks up again when He is in his 30s and tells the amazing but true story of how He made the ultimate sacrifice for me and you by allowing His creations to flog Him and drive nails into His earthly body, only to die, and then rise again three days later. SHOUT GLORY!
Now atheists would like us to believe that the reason that these years of JESUS' life are missing from the Bible is because He was running around acting like a brat and rebelling against His parents and GOD like all kids do, but this is most certainly not the case!
We can safely assume that JESUS was busy reading the scriptures, rebuking sinners and wowing His neighbors with fantastic miracles that proved He was the Son of GOD. There is no reason to suspect that He had at any time in His life given into any temptations or engaged in any debauchery, even when He was a teenager and His young male body was pounding with testosterone. It's my guess that JESUS didn't even KNOW He had privates between His glorious thighs!
Luke 2:52 says that, as young JESUS grew, He "Increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and man." Now how could that be true if He was an angry young man or insatiable sex addict?
I think we can now put these silly notions of JESUS doing anything too embarrassing to be put in the Bible to rest for good.
*Even though silly secular historians say that Herod died about ten years before Cyerinius became governor or Syria, this is more likely a mistake on THEIR part than on the part of GOD while authoring the Bible.
**Luke 2:39 technically says that JESUS, Joseph and Mary went back straight to Galilee and never went to Egypt, but this does NOT make it a contradiction because the Bible is always right and both accounts are the truth.
