Smoking marihuana is a sin. End of story. Marihuana is an intoxicating narcotic.

Also, I might point out that marihuana is illegal to ingest, grow, buy, sell or possess in all countries that matter (USA).

No, but I'm told that an ointment of equal parts poison ivy vine, prickly ash bark, and alfalfa seeds is supposed to be good, applied externally, for arthritis. Every plant has her uses, even if we haven't found them yet.

As Paracelsus said, the dosage makes the poison. Do you know how much cannabis it would take to kill you? enough that it'd be faster if you dropped it on yourself. There are plenty of poisonous plants, which, if used properly, have positive effects. Cannabis has so many unambiguously good effects that it would be doing humanity a great disservice to deny it to them.

Henbane is a herb - no logic required. It will also kill you pretty quickly - again, no logic required.

Not only will it kill you quickly, but it contains tropane alkaloids demons, which have hallucinogenic properties. Henbane is not an "herb", it is a narcotic. Likewise with cannabis. This is all common sense.
