Back in 1886 France wanted to curry favor with the U.S. and gifted us with the Statue of Liberty. At the time France thought of itself as a beacon of capitalism and believed the U.S. to be its sister nation. Today France is criticizing our President Trump. To think that right there in the New York harbor is a tribute to a country that does not agree President Trump is better than the French president is beyond the pale. France wants it back, let's send it back. We will replace it with a statue the same size but a likeness of President Trump.

Oh, so the French people think that the Statue of Liberty is theirs, do they? Do they not realize that a gift is a gift? That means that we do not have to return it. What a bunch of sourpuss, ungrateful Indian givers they are! But if they want it so badly, then let's get rid of it. We don't need any resentment trinkets lying around, and if they are prepared to insult the , then I say to with the statue — and with France! Our dear President Trump is doing such a tremendous job at taking out the trash, so this might as well go, too.
