You are quoting this verse out of context. Read the whole story. T


1 Smauel 16: 7But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." In this passage, God is telling Samuel to reject Eliab, despite looking good, because God rejects him. You make it sound the other way around - as though man is being too judgmental and God is condemning them for it. No, God is in fact saying to judge them even harder, not just their looks, but their actions too.

Interestingly, we are then told what the anointed of God should look like:

1 Samuel 16: 12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

This, I think, is a key verse in the topic of judging. We should not pass judgement on what and when? It looks to me like we can't be in someone's head, so we shouldn't say that we know what their motives are. We can't do that, so we should leave it to the Judge, who already knows and will bring it to light.

It fits with my assumption that judging should be done with great care and relunctance.

By the way, where is the last day in that verse? Might God bring it forth before the last day for all to see. (See any recent scandal in the Christian church for example.) What if it is that clear today?

I meant that we don't have a right to judge motive- although we can perhaps judge what we see, as that is all that we can know. Judge rightly, but we should really leave motive to God. Motive does not excuse sin or whatever, but when God comes, he will "bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God." We do not have that job.

Yes, we can not judge motive since we can not know it. We certainly can judge actions. Jesus does take actions further and says the thought of the action is as bad. However, only the individual can know what he is thinking. I believe that Jesus is really going after hypocracy rather than judgment.

Jesus does not say, "Go on with the beam in your eye, and ignore the mote." He says first, STOP SINNING, and then, TELL YOUR BROTHER TO STOP SINNING TOO!"

This is an indictment against hypocritical sinning. He lets you know that you will be judged the same way you judge others. However, if you are not committing the sins you judge of others, than you have nothing to fear by being judged by the same measure you use.

Seems straight forward. God will act towards you as you act towards others. Moving on...

By the same measure you use, you shall be measured. What does this mean? It means every time you judge, God will judge you. However, God will use the same standard you use. The problem arises when blind try to lead the blind. But is EVERYONE blind? No. Christians (aka disciples) although not above the Master, or perfect like Him. The only problem with judging is when you judge someone else and you have your own problems, pointing out a mote when you have a beam in your eye. Jesus tells us what to do. First get rid of your sin, and then tell others to stop sinning. He does not say go on sinning and never saying anything bad.

If you read through the 400 posts so far you will find them so contaminated with so much sad trash-talk from unbelievers, racists and blasphemers that it makes your heart sad. I have therefore made a compilation. I don't want any credit, it has all been written in previous posts.

Revelation 1:14 describes Jesus face. Both the sin and the hair on the head are white as wool or snow.

In John 1:4-5 we read that Jesus is shining with light. Can someone with dark skin radiate light? See also John 8:12 and Revelation 22:5.

Adam and Eve are created in Genesis 1:27 as images of God, in his likeness. Adam means in Hebrew to be red or ruddy. That is the property of the whitest skin-type with little to none pigmentation. Since Jesus is himself true God his skin must have shown that.

People who saw Jesus compared him with David. David was white as can be read in 1 Samuel 16:12 and 1 Samuel 17:42.

As a metaphor of his love for us we see a description of Jesus in Song of Solomon 5:10 where Jesus is described as outstanding among 10000, that is the whitest 0,01% of the population.

Jesus was born in Betlehem but grew up in Nazareth, a village known for its white population as can be read in Lamentations 4:7. Mary was Nazarean. It was suitable that a pure white woman carried a pure white child, even as there was no conception. God placed the perfect egg inside her womb.

Have you ever looked at a picture or painting of a black Jesus and thought to yourself, “This just doesn’t feel right?” You ask yourself, “Is the painter joking? Is he making fun of Jesus?” The answer is yes, the artist is being sarcastic and that artist is surely burning in hell’s fire as I type this.

Jesus was white. Yes, He was born in the Middle East, but His father was not Middle Eastern, He was God. God is NOT Middle Eastern. When was the last time you saw a painting of God with a Turban wrapped around His head? Never? Exactly.

God is white. God has always been white. Every depiction, every description and every painting I have seen of God has been white. God impregnated Mary, NOT Joseph. Therefor, Jesus is white.

That is what drew people to Him in the first place. A white skinned man in the Middle East 2000 years ago was surely a miracle and Jesus was and is a miracle worker.

Now look at Heaven. Heaven is mostly made of feathery white clouds with rays of light shooting through them, which according to most Christians I know, would make the inhabitants white.

Also, white is amazingly proficient at reflecting light, which is very important when living in Heaven because it’s much closer to the sun than living on the Earth. This white skin prevents you from getting cancer in Heaven and I’m sure stops many other diseases in their tracks.

So, next time you start babbling on about how, “Jesus was Middle Eastern and couldn’t have been white”, save yourself the embarrassment and look at the Facts!

Pastor Ezekiel, as much as I believe in the word of the Lord, I would like to point out a few flaws in your logic.

This is not really the point. First of all, seeing a painting of God is forbidden by the Bible itself. God said unto Moses that no depiction of him was allowed to be made, and anyone who saw God's true face would not survive. This means no one has an accurate reference to see what God looks like, and thus can't know what God looks like. Furthermore, the whole notion that God is "white" is quite off. God is all-powerful, and even greater than you claim the white race is. To compare God to mere Caucasians would be a blatant insult to God's greatness, as God is greater than any man of any creed.

Also, why would the fact that Joseph isn't Jesus' father automatically mean he's white? I cannot find in the Bible that Joseph is anything but white.

The Romans had occupied all of modern day Israël (where Jesus was born and lived), and Romans were white. Also, traders from northern Roman provinces and barbarian slaves were white, and not a rare sight in the Middle East at that time. It was Jesus' great preachings and his love for his followers that drew people to him, not some petty thing like the colour of his skin.

Heaven is not close to the sun. If that were so, that would mean that because we can see the sun, we should also be able to see Heaven. But heaven is not in our observable universe, for we are not worthy to be so close to the Heavens, not until we show God our true loyalty.

And yes, the colour "white" is excellent at reflecting sunlight. However, the colour of our skins is determined by how much melanin God has given us. The less melanin we have, the whiter we are. This melanin is what protects us from the rays of the Sun, one of God's earliest and greatest creations. If we stay in the sun, our bodies start to produce more melanin through the will of God, thereby protecting us from the sun's potentially harmful rays. Blacks, then, are dark so they can withstand the sun and work in the fields without getting skin cancer. THIS IS TRUE, and also explained in Rev. Jim Osborne's post, "Proof that the Negro was designed to be a Servant Race", which you happily applauded as fact: "Rev. Jim, all I can say is Amen, brother! You have laid it out for all to see."

Also, the notion that a white skin would protect one from skin cancer and other diseases in Heaven is preposterous, as the Bible has taught you that Heaven is a Kingdom only the worthy go to, free from sorrow, death and disease.

I am disappointed in you, Pastor Ezekiel. You are a True Christian yet fail to see the real beauty and intricacies of God's work.
