    1) What makes you think that it was not an original commissioned piece of art?
    2) Why do you hate Jesus?

      Saying that someone hates Jesus is a logical fallacy and is not an argument or discussion. It does not make your position any more correct or your statements any more true. Using that as a reply does not explain your actions.

        Who would have commissioned the art? And why would Jesus have allowed money to be spent on his painting when it could be used to further God's work in the world?

          How do you know for sure that Jesus acctually had to pay for the painting? If Jesus had asked me, I would have done the painting for free.

            I don't think anyone in Jesus' time payed for a painting. I believe it was painted much later, after he died. For Jesus is God, and God said in the 10 commandments that there should be no images of him, so why would Jesus sit there and disobey his father's will by allowing a painting to be done of him?

                    How could they of painted Jesus when he was dead. Clearly, in the painting, he is very much alive, cradling a lamb that he is going to eat. Though I suppose it is possible it was done after he had risen from then dead but his shirt is too clean.

                      People paint pictures of the dead all the time. It is not that hard for someone to use their imagination. Look at the painting of chrubs and angels that are scattered across Europe. As if every single last one of those people have seen one.

                      What does a clean shirt have to do with it? He is God! I am sure he would be more than able to get a clean shirt, and I doubt that he was buried with one on.

                      Who painted the last supper? The original last supper? And count the number of disciples in that picture please.

                                No, it confirms nothing in any way.

                                This thread is full of racism and racist comments (you yourself have contributed to it Mr. Hutchins). No one has actually provided proof to support their opinions that Jesus was white. Paintings are not proof, very loosely translated and twisted scripture is not proof, and personal feelings are not proof.

                                I believe that God is of no color. Why would a being described as glorious be doomed to wear a color? Unless you are trying to say that God is shackled by the same problems as ordinary human beings, which I don't think you are, but it comes across that way.

                                As for Jesus, at the end of the day, it does not matter in any way what color he was. What matters is that he came and died so EVERY person could be with God. What really matters when compared to that? Nothing, nothing at all.
