Look again. Try Acts 5:1-11

Acts 5:1-11 refers to tithing the appropriate 10% and lying about how much they had in order to tithe less. It covers dishonesty more than anything else. It has nothing to do with assuring their spot in heaven as long as they give your church enough money.

Of course not. Jesus never sinned. I have sinned, but my sins are washed away. They are gone, and I am without sin now.

That sentence makes no sense at all. Pride is a sin (Mark 7:22), but I don't understand what any of this has to do with "false idols". I don't think you even understand the term.

By the way, lest you think you have "got me", I am not committing the sin of pride when I say that I know for certain that I am saved or that I know my sins have been washed away. I can't claim any credit for it. God did it all, and I am thankful to Him.

I am a church pastor, so you could say I've studied the New Testament a time or two. I don't see anything in the verses you posted that say we are doing anything wrong.

(1 John 3:18) Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.

You have taken this verse out of context. This verse is talking about how we should love God.

(Matthew 5:44) Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. (Notice there is nothing about killing your enemy here.)

We do all of that, friend. I love my own enemies and would never kill any of them. When God, however, commands us to kill HIS enemies, I'm not going to stand around slack-jawed like King Saul.

(Leviticus 19:18) Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Why don't you post the whole verse, instead of extracting part of a sentence out of context? You left out the part that defines the term "neighbour".

We all love our neighbours (fellow Christians) as we love ourselves.

A vast majority of Africans are not as you describe, so yes that is what I am saying. Using a blanket derogatory term against a particular people is racist no matter how you cut it. While there are some who live in poverty in the harsh environment I hardly would call that hopping or being a bunny.

God doesn't condemn anyone. Unrepentant sinners condemn themselves. Sinners have free will to accept or reject God's gift of salvation.

None of our Pastors has a KKK avatar. He wears the traditional Landover Baptist security detail uniform, with the flame retardant hood and robe, which predates the KKK by a couple of centuries.
