    The Wandering Joo

Has anyone (besides me I mean) seen the Wandering Joo around town?

    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

I haven't seen him in CA lately. Maybe he got waylaid somewhere? Or stopped off for cookies?

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

The wandering Jew MUST be out there somewhere.

Jesus hasn't come back yet (I pray it will happen today) so there must be at least one of the original witnesses still alive. He would be about 2000 years old so he should be quite distinguishable.

I once heard an atheist say that the other option was that Jesus was a normal guy who was deluded and thought He was coming back very soon or the whole story is legend. I'm not a violent man normally but I did leave him unconscious and bleeding.
Obviously these other options can be dismissed without any thought needed because they are just ludicrous.

If we found the wandering jew it would prove to the Jesus haters that you can trust EVERY word that came out of Jesus's sweet lips. I think we should all keep a look out for him.

I thought the last official sighting was in 1868 in New York somewhere. I've often wondered whether those Sasquatch sightings might indeed be him hiding out somewhere. Then perhaps he just decided to head up one of those klezmer bands. There is reference to "The Wandering Jew Polka", but I can't place my hands on the music.

I found it! It was in the hallway at my church all along!

It appears God has transformed him into a plant, spread throughout the world by cuttings rooted in water.

I dread the day when all those potted plants become Jews again!

            Re: The Wandering Joo

Two points come to mind here:

            1) Is this the same person referred to in John 21:20-23?

"20Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? 21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. 23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?"

            2) I noticed that the video claims the previous sightings were all in Catholic countries, save the last which was in Salt Lake City. Are you now accepting the word of Catholics and Mormons?

Great that you took it into your own authority to teach the atheist what is right. How dare this person insult Jesus?

Why do you use the slang "Joo" to describe Jews? Don't you think it's at least a little inappropriate considering Jesus Christ was a Jew?
Would you use suck slander against the son of God? I would hope not.

                  Toady -

                  Jesus was not a Jew.

Jews worship God. Jesus IS God.

Jews do not believe Jesus is God. Jesus, meanwhile IS God.

Jews think the Messiah hasn't yet come. Jesus IS the Messiah.

See? Jesus cannot be a Jew.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Jesus was a Jew. There's no arguing about it, he just was. Didn't it ever occur to you that the Christian faith didn't become a thing until after Jesus had died.
So while he was actually alive he was a "God-fearing"(you guys love that term) JEW. All of his followers were Jewish as well.
So back to the original point. I'm sure he doesn't appreciate the term "Joo".

Does the concept of time escape you. I said he was a Jew 2000 YEARS ago. Before Christianity was even a religion. And you know why Christianity wasn't a religion? Because Jesus Christ(the namesake of CHRISTianity, by the way) was Still alive and had not yet communicated with God yet. Oy Vey! It's not a complicated premise.
