I don't understand the big deal. Someone explain to me what's so important about the Measles? So some kids get it at a park? So what? My kids get sick, I pray, they get better. Don't these parents pray?

So looking into it a bit, I find that:
But that's not the best way to prevent measles and its spread. The Blessings of the LORD is the best way. True Christians™ are Joint-Heirs with Christ. We are as important on earth today as Jesus was back during the Bible times. We are His very "hands and feet," if you will. The Holy Bible doesn't say anything about Jesus getting the measles, so He probably didn't have them. There's no reason to assume we should have them either (Romans 8:14; 17; Galatians 3:29; Colossians1:12).
Why would anyone want to risk measles if they don't have to? God tells us very clearly how we can avoid bad things - through unflinching, unquestioning loyalty. First we show our fear and obedience unto the LORD, then He Blesses us. Deuteronomy chapter 28 is a good source for this information. The first half explains the lengths to which God will bless those who are obedient, and the second half explains the disaster that awaits those who refuse.
The Holy Bible really does go into great detail to explain just how wonderful life is for those who please the LORD.
Someone is liable to sue the parents who brought the first sick kid because they won't know how to prevent such things.

So looking into it a bit, I find that:
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has been notified of seven confirmed cases of measles in patients from five different locations within California it was reported today by Dr. Ron Chapman, CDPH director and state health officer. Two Utah resident cases have also been confirmed and three additional California residents are also suspected to have measles and are under investigation. All confirmed and suspect cases reported visiting Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park in Orange County, California sometime between December 15 and December 20, 2014.
Based on information from current cases, it is likely that a person infectious with measles was at one of the theme parks on these dates. People can be infectious with measles for nine days. Measles typically begins with fever, cough, runny nose and red eyes and within a few days a red rash appears, usually first on the face and then spreads downward to the rest of the body. Measles is a highly infectious, airborne disease.
“If you have symptoms, and believe you may have been exposed, please contact your health care provider,” said Dr. Chapman. “The best way to prevent measles and its spread is to get vaccinated.”

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly;
and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
2 Corinthians 9:6
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts,
if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing,
that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Malachi 3:10
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night,
so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it;
for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
Joshua 1:8
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
