Actually, I do understand the holy word of god. I have read the bible. That's why I'm an atheist. Nothing makes you an atheist faster than reading the bible.

Anyway, if my father was satan, I am pretty sure I would have some supernatural abilities. Sadly, I do not.

Congratulations, you're the first guy on this site who is speaking without certainty in regards of the teaching of the bible. Most of the religious people are 100% certain of it and you can see the certainty in their posts.

You, my friend, seem to lack that certainty, as if you're only 70% certain of what will happen.

God has given you free will and you may yet use it to find Jesus, though that is not likely. Thus, it is not possible for anyone to predict your ultimate fate with certainty.

If god has given me free will, then I find it ironic that he would punish me for using said free will to ask questions he cannot provide a decent answer for.

You know, that is a VERY interesting question. I'll try to answer it as best I can.

I try to live a good life, but that's not because I am afraid of being punished by god (assuming he exists), but because I simply want to live a good life. I do good things (like helping others) because I like how it feels and because I like helping others. I am not doing it out of fear or some "better safe than sorry" idea.

In fact, if you think about it, living a good life in accordance to your religion raises a question. Do you do good because you want to do good, or because you are afraid of what might happen if you don't do good deeds? If you do good things because you are afraid/do not want to anger god, then I doubt your sincerity.

Basically, I live my life in accordance to my moral code and what my parents have taught me. I am not concerned about whether or not some deity will be angered by it. In fact, if said deity has nothing better to do than follow every tiny aspect of my life, then that deity should find a hobby.

I do good things because I want to, not because I am afraid of being punished.

The only laws that matter are God's Laws.

Let me explain by telling you a true story taken right out of the Holy Bible.

Under God's direction, Moses' army defeated the Midianites. They kill all the adult males, but take the women and children captive. When Moses learns that they left some live, he angrily says: "Have you saved all the women alive? Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." So they went back and did as Moses (and presumably God) instructed, killing everyone except for the virgins. In this way they got 32,000 virgins --captive girl children virgins! ---- Numbers 31:1-54
