Every morning I awaken and see my children asleep in their beds and walk outside with the mornings first cup of coffee and see the sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico reflecting off of the water - is all the proof I need. Glory to God!

that 'circular arguments' are a poor way to present information. The example the video shows looks a lot like that. "God created the universe. How do you know? Because he said that he did through the bible (which we assume to be true)."

How can believers in creationism best state their beliefs that do not include logical fallacies?

Because the Bible says so.

What is the best way show proof that is consistent with rational thought? I need help because i am struggling with my faith. that's why i joined this forum and im sorry i've come across as an asshole. Im just frustrated. Please help.

Have faith and believe or go to the eternal flames of hell. It's a pretty simple choice for me.

America should wake up before we get punished by God for not believing in Him and his Everlasting Word.

We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.

There will be some whom no amount of proof will convince. It all comes down to faith: "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrew 11:6.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the original video was a joke?

Some of the things said like the part about how God put all of the galaxies in the Universe just so astronomers would have something to look at seemed a little "funny".

What do you guys really think about the other galaxies in the universe?

I mean, you have to agree that we have measured the speed of sound. We have also measured the speed of light (check it out here). So if light has a certain speed it can travel then those galaxies must be much further than the allotted 6,004 years.

What do you guys think?

There's nothing in the Bible about galaxies. The Bible is very clear on how the universe works. First there is the Earth, a flat, disk-shaped object supported by pillars. Underneath it is hell. Above there is a solid dome that holds an ocean of water which is where rain comes from. Then there is the sun and the moon and the stars, tiny balls of light that move around the earth. The Bible tells us that someday all of the stars in the sky will fall to the ground. Finally, above the clouds, is Heaven where God lives.

Scientists have some really ridiculous claims about outer space and stuff like that. I don't know how anyone can buy that nonsense.

Sorry for not introducing myself. I was not aware we were following "Wal-Mart" rules on this forum. It was my first time posting so forgive me.

What about actual pictures take from outer space of the Earth showing it to be spherical in shape and also the fact that you can fly around the world and return to the place you began? I'm not saying do not believe in the bible, all I am saying is the world is far too big of a place for just one book with it's finite amount of words to explain everything in the Universe. If the bible meant to explain everything, it would have to have been hundred of thousands of pages long. (not too fun of a read i bet)

If you live by your logic then we should not use computers because the bible does not mention them, not get vaccinated because the bible does not mention them, not flush our toilets or anything like that.
