Space X, UFOs, or Fiery Flying Serpent as Revealed in the Holy Bible?

Elon Musk, or Ol' Musky, as he likes to be called, "joked" about aliens and UFOs and ridiculous fantastic rockets called "Falcon 9 Iridium-4" having been "successfully launched" from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. For once Californians, who witnessed this event, aren't tripping on LSD and lichen from licking the corners of city buildings. They really did witness a magnificent site. But it's not what Elon Musk tried to pass off.

But it's not just Elon Musk playing these games. Recently, a disgruntled Obama era research scientist confessed to having used millions of dollars to study UFOs. The media leaked vdeos of nothing that really make sense except for bright lights quickly flying through the air.

Is it reasonable to suspect UFOs have finally made contact with mankind? Does anyone actually believe such a far-fetched claim that the sci-fi stories they've grown up, stories that could never be reconciled with what we actually know about the world, would be realized and witnessed coincidentally in the few short decades of their lives?

Or is it more reasonable to turn to the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and learn the Truth about His Creation? We know the Holy Bible is right, for even so-called secular scientific discoveries continue to confirm the Scriptures, so we know we can trust it to be faithful for our needs. A few examples:

• Both man and woman possess the seed of life (Genesis 3:15); discovered by man in 17th century
• Earth is held in place by invisible forces (Job 26:7); discovered by man in 1650
• Blood is necessary for life (Leviticus 17:11); discovered by man in 19th century
• Oceans have natural paths in them (Psalms 8:8); discovered by man in 1854
• Light is a particle and has mass (a photon) (Job 38:19); discovered by man in 1932
• Stars give off signals (Job 38:7); discovered by man in 1945
• Oceans contain fresh water springs (Job 38:16); discovered by man in 1920
• Dust is important to survival (Isaiah 40:12); discovered by man in 1935
• Hubert Spencer's scientific principles (Genesis 1); discovered by man in 1820
• Air has weight (Job 28:25); discovered by man in the 17th century
• Light can be split up into component colors (Job 38:24); discovered by man in 1650
• Matter is made up of invisible particles (Romans 1:20); discovered by man in 20th century
• Water cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7); discovered by man in 17th century
• Lightning and thunder are related (Job 38:25); discovered by man in 19th century

So what are we seeing in the skies? I'm not a scientist, but I am a home educator, and so I've literally spent months researching into various scientific controversies so I could teach my children the scientific Truth™ as it corresponds to God's Word. And what I found this past week has only confirmed what the True Christian™ already knows. These flying lights in the skies are not UFOs. They are not aliens. They were identified thousands of years ago and recorded in the Holy Bible:

Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken:

for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

Isaiah 14:29

I'll leave it up to the Pastors and theologians to let us know what this means. All I know is I shall continue to praise and glorify my Lord, Jesus Christ, for Great Things are Happening!

Thank you for an encouraging post, Mary. The secular world must have rather damaged memory banks! They keep going on about UFO's when it's common knowledge that UFO is just an abbreviation (on air traffic control logs) for unidentified flying object, that is an aircraft entering your airspace which has neglected to give a radio identification. There could be a number of reasons. Radio broken, aircraft without a transponder (VFR aircraft not entering class B airspace) or even a weather balloon. Although I think weather balloons make beeping sounds.

Wishing for alien life, as the secularist must, results in patterns imagined where there's no pattern really, and those patterns most sought are the ones most readily imagined. It doesn't mean there's anything there and doesn't change the meaning of UFO to air traffic controllers. Even a truck on a hillside would show up on their radar as a UFO but obviously they know where the hills are. Those get eliminated. The only exception would be secret test flights of military aircraft, but those don't exist. Once announced however, previous UFO records can be corrected and there's none left. Except for the new secret aircraft, but that doesn't exist yet either. When it does though..

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and I haven't heard any as yet. "Flying saucer" anecdotes are beyond ridiculous and the "footage" from ufologists is absolutely laughable. There is a reason why flying saucer literature falls under the "occult" section of libraries. Deluded cretins unable to see the father of lies deceiving them just to get their souls into hell. FOREVER.
