You seem to be compounding "nature" with "God" to produce an emollient paste for softening the message of Salvation. On the one hand we have Nature, by whose hand all that we see has come to pass. Sure, the naturalist explains, there are horizons at the largest (incomprehensibly gigantic) and the smallest (incomprehensibly minute) scales beyond which classical descriptions break down. Beyond our ken. Which is what incomprehensibility means. So no surprise there.

Within this limited Nature however standards apply and predictions can be made. Tested. Refuted or confirmed. This is the arena in which hornets eat bees, bees become extinct, humans invent clockwork bees (at Harvard v.s.) and then the sun explodes. Big deal. First there was nothing then everything became extinct and there were no more stars. When you refer to the evil of hornets you are constrained in this bubble, declaring whatever gave rise to humans to be evil because it stands on the shoulders of mass extinction after mass extinction over and over again. And when the final wizened earthling wilts on yet undreamed of stars the embryonic microbe stirs.

Defending God means standing up against observations contradicting what He has revealed. This is not a new idea.

My comment was in relation to your claim that something happened that was not God's will.

God is portrayed in the Bible as omniscient and omnipotent. What those big words mean is that He knows everything that has happened, is happening, or will happen in the future, and He can do anything.

Accepting that God has those properties leads to the notion that nothing happens without God's approval. If He did not want something to happen, He'd change it. Therefore, if something happens, it's because God wanted to it happen. If you do not understand why God does something, that is your problem, and that is ALSO WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:

Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
