Re: Why did God (capital G there, sinner!) create science?

Dr. Francis Collins is a devout Christian who has a good perspective on this.

If you keep in mind that everything in the universe is the work of the creator, you can make a scientific study and not go overboard trying to prove everything, just the stuff the creator intended us to find.
Acts 3:24-25 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."

Check the intro I posted .

Thanks for the infraction. Not everyone who posts here is a troll seeking to cause trouble. Some of us may be on a different path than you but seeking truth and rediscovery of lost faith. Each of us is at a different point along the way of discovery, not everyone is as far along as you or others.

Just because we post questions doesn't mean we intend to stir up trouble. Engaging in honest dialog is going to help people learn to a much greater extent than handing out infractions forst and talking later.

This may niot be the right forum to ask questions and learn from others in my search to rediscover the roots of Christianity. Time will tell

You probably got the infraction for posting to a false Christian web site. I would suggest going to the link below and reading the thread very carefully. I'm sure it will be of great assistance to you in your quest to discover True Christianity.

Please read this. You are our guest. We will treat you like a jewel on the cushion of our hospitality. Or maybe not.

        Yours in Christ

In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

Spot on sister. Science is the work of the devil.
