To even suggest that prayers from a filthy Christ-killing jew could be held to the same standard as the prayer from a True Christian™ is beyond absurd; its downright blasphemous!
Next time they do a survey like this you should pray for someone.

"In fact, patients who knew they were being prayed for had a slightly higher rate of complications.

Researchers emphasized that their work can't address whether God exists or answers prayers made on another's behalf. The study can only look for an effect from prayers offered as part of the research, they said.

They also said they had no explanation for the higher complication rate in patients who knew they were being prayed for, in comparison to patients who only knew it was possible prayers were being said for them."

How interesting....they KNEW they were being prayed for,yet apparently had MORE complications than those patients who didn't know.

You think maybe Jc's annoyed at the god-botherers?

It's obvious that Jesus is punishing the sin of pride for telling some patients that they were being prayed for. It is also mocking God. The Lord is righteously smiting the means, medians, standard deviations, t-tests, and chi-squares of those researchers.

          Not obvious.

There is one thing that is perfectly obvious to everyone, you are one gormless, self-absorbed little twit that adds nothing of substance to these Godly forums and are an utter waste of the Lord's precious packets.

Perhaps you would like to further expound on the results of this experiment and propose an explanation for the results. Maybe you might want to pursue the Heisenberg uncertainty principle as suggested by Brother Lee. Another avenue might be an appeal to Bell's Theorem and the non-local universe, or the collapse of the quantum probability waves. Perhaps you would like to further investigate the sample sizes and statistical confidence levels.

Almost anything might be of interest other than your tiresome statements and one-liners.

Of course I add substance. I add the atheistic counterpoint to all you're outrageous claims. My value is proven via my arguementative nature.

I believe that last sentence was a one-liner.
Thanks for the subject matter. I will be looking into them. Till then, I shall continue to be a counter arguement to your claims.

You continue to make no counter arguments whatsoever. All you do is repeatedly state your belief in atheism. It would be just as effective as countering every statement by appealing to the idea that you were a vegetarian. You have accomplished noting other than to betray a juvenile sophistry.

And you've yet to answer the question at hand with a logical, and testable, statement.

Why is it that more of those who were prayed for, experienced complications?

First off, you misunderstand and incorrectly summarized the significant results quoted in the research. This is typical of you and your arrogance.

My original post on the subject stands. It is logical, testable, and relies on established science that is used in research throughout medical science. Drugs that your doctor prescribes that have been approved by the FDA rely on these methods. Millions of dollars of government and privately funded research use these methods. There continues to be a great deal of research on them.

Your job is to shut your insufferable little mouth and go find out what they are and report back here. You just might learn a little humility and something about medical science at the same time. At the moment not only does Jesus not like you; but you are on the path to becoming a stunningly useless human being.
