That's pretty and all, but I prefer to think of it this way: We're right. Them that are wrong will get their PROOF in Hell, and they deserve no better. If wasn't enough, and and ain't getting it through their heads, then the only answer left is , and I think they've earned it in spades.

I think Anselm did a great job proving God as well (The papists call him St. Anselm, but I don't hold stock with those blaspheming Dopes for the Pope). To paraphrase:

Think of God as the most perfect being. Existing in reality and in thought is more perfect than just existing in thought. Therefore, God exists in reality.

Boom. End of story. Case closed. As if anyone needed more proof than the wonders around us or the evil acts of Satan we fight against everyday, hallelujah.

Speaking of matters of proof of God

I believe that frog eating, snail sucking Descarte has helped us understand the proof of the existence of God.

He is the man that said: cognito ergo sum, I think therefore I am. The point was to prove the existence of the individual. This profound statement did certainly make some waves.

Descarte then went on to prove existence of God and I certainly think he hit the nail with the hammer on this one.

Initial statement: the predicate of existence is perfection.

The truly profound bit: God is perfect, therefore He exists.

Thank you Descarte, even though you are a frog eating, snail sucking, catlick Frenchy, I believe you have added a solid foundation stone to the Christian Faith with that one.

Exactly!

Because there is a creator we know that Hell, Heaven, Satan, the crucifixion, resurrection and the dead rising afterwards, a young earth, the worldwide deluge, the plagues of Eygpt, the garden of Eden, Jonas surviving inside the belly of a whale, Moses conjuring a pillar of fire and parting the Red Sea is all true by association. Creation bears witness to the Creator and at the same time validates the fact that God, the Creator, hates every single thing about His creations from our sex drive, which He created, to women, who He created, to childhood rebellious instincts, which He created, to intellectualism, which He created, etc. etc.

It boggles the mind how non-believers can rationalize a world without Jesus Christ. It's just to complex to be a fluke and the only viable choices are something out of nothing (which is immpossible) or what is written in the Bible... so really there is no option, but Jesus. PRAISE!!!

Just once wouldn't you love for someone to simply show you the evidence for God's existence? No arm-twisting. No statements of, "You just have to believe." Well, here is an attempt to candidly offer some of the reasons which suggest that God exists.


But first consider this. If a person opposes even the possibility of there being a God, then any evidence can be rationalized or explained away. It is like if someone refuses to believe that people have walked on the moon, then no amount of information is going to change their thinking. Photographs of astronauts walking on the moon, interviews with the astronauts, moon rocks...all the evidence would be worthless, because the person has already concluded that people cannot go to the moon.
When it comes to the possibility of God's existence, the Bible says that there are people who have seen sufficient evidence, but they have suppressed the truth about God.1 On the other hand, for those who want to know God if he is there, he says, "You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you."2 Before you look at the facts surrounding God's existence, ask yourself, If God does exist, would I want to know him? Here then, are some reasons to consider...

1. Does God exist? The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer who not only created our universe, but sustains it today.

Many examples showing God's design could be given, possibly with no end. But here are a few:

I'm just glad Marilyn put forth that introductory disclaimer about how crazy "atheists" can rationalize away any answer simply because they just don't want to believe, just like those crazy conspiracy theorists and their moonwalk nonsense!


She wants to point out that atheists are crazy, you see.

Only people who want to find God will find Him, just like Marilyn says!
