I cannot speak about "Baptists", as I believe any denomination is capable of flaws in interpretation of the Holy Book, but as far as answering your question, its perfectly clear in the Bible.

Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
19:14 And there were seven sons of [one] Sceva, a Jew, [and] chief of the priests, which did so.
19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Anything is possible through Jesus. That's all you need to know, all else is inconsequential.

Why would we believe in any of those things? They're clearly not in the Bible, so there's no evidence to suggest that they're real. It is possible that they're nephilim, so they're not directly named in the world's True history book. So yes, no.

With the sun shrinking at 5 feet per year, only a fool could say that the earth is more than a few thousand years old. If you turn that rate backwards millions of years ago the sun would have covered the earth up.
