People don't fall off the Earth because of GRAVITY. And many things would not happen if the Earth were flat: mainly seasons, day and night, the moon, tides, compasses, satellites, TV, radio, the sun, the discovery of the United States, SatNav.

The other side? Do you mean the bottom side? No-one lives there. Your basic knowledge of science seems to be badly deficient. Some parts of the top side receive illumination from a mass of burning coal that is called the Sun, a source of light Created by God (Genesis 1:16). The rays of the Sun do not reach all parts of this Created World (Genesis 1:1) simultaneously, as the Sun does not stay still but moves on the Firmament (Genesis 1:6). Because of this movement, some parts receive illumination each day.

There's been one known exception to this daily rhythm and we can read all about it in the Bible.

Joshua 10:13
And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

The sun is like a spotlight that revolves around the firmament. When it is above part of the Earth, that part is lit. When it moves on, night falls. That is really quite simple. Now, why don't you head on over to the introduction forum and tell us about your self.

Having just enrolled in Dr. White's "Flat Earth Science" course that begins in January, I can vouch for his knowledge of this topic. When I called Landover University to get the downloads that are required for the course I was reminded to start downloading them early in December because they take several days to transfer from a JesOS format to my inferior Windows format. The librarian said there is so much detail that if it was purchased as a textbook, the cost would be in the thousands of dollars.

Brother Dr. Elmer, I am just on pins and needles to begin my doctoral studies in one of your courses. I am also in Brother Whittendorfer's Overview of Baraminology class. Do I have to sign up for the lab for that class or is it optional? The catalog wasn't clear.

I have noticed several debates on this particular subject here. To all you godless atheists out there, let's settle this once and for all...

In the modern world it has become a widely spread lie that the earth is round. Of course, this is impossible. If the earth is round, then why don't people just fall off at the bottom?

The answer is simple: The Earth is not round!

Now, if we take a look at some scripture, it clearly tells us the earth is not round but flat:

Jeremiah 16:19:
O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

According to Jeremiah 16:19, the earth has ends. There is no way a spherical earth could have ends, and therefore the earth must be flat. The Book of Revelation tells a similar story:

Revelation 7:1:
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

A spherical earth cannot have corners, it is scientifically impossible. The only logical explanation is that the earth is flat. Checkmate atheists!

Isaiah 40:22:
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

I have no idea what you're talking about. Gravity has never been scientifically proved and hence still remains a theory. If you want to learn more about gravity then click here.

Nothing can be proven to 100% but there is a substantial amount of evidence to support the theory of gravity which also stays with all known laws of physics and supports them
