What you are doing is called discrimination, it is evil. You are assuming that because some false religions screwed up all religions are automatically bad. While that is indeed true for most religions, science included, someone has to have it right, right? We believe God has it right. Are you a true, Bible-believing Christian? The Bible is not filled with half truths. If it was then it would afford man the oppotunity to create their faith around their own sinful desires. If the Bible (KJV) said the earth is flat, and I don't know that it does, then it is flat. If you refute the story based on man's understanding and scientific evidence, then you are claiming that GOD is a liar and that his WORD is a lie.


The famous astro-geologist, Rowbotham, aka, Parrallax, invented the amazing science of zetetics. He was able to conclusively demonstrate that the earth a disc, with the North Pole at its center and a 150-foot (45 m) high wall of ice at the outer edge.

Now, I don't know if this is true, because I have never been to the North Pole, but I bet you have not either. When it comes to choosing between the words of men, even if they say they are great scientists, and the WORD of the LORD, I know which one I will choose.

Please bear in mind I am not trying to be biased - simply share my opinion and hear yours. I am no scientist, nor a man of god. I'm 17 and go to church every Sunday.

You have clearly provided your views, and beliefs on this subject. The earth is a circular, cube-like puffed up sponge shaped structure with corners, that used to be flat until the great flood occurred, and the remaining water soaked into the earth creating ground water. Fair enough. I will not try disprove you on this.
According to your beliefs, the earth is NOT a sphere. The earth has corners (or edges), and on the "flip side" heaven is located where spirits and god resides.

Let me ask you this then;
What proof do YOU have, that the earth is not spherical. Have you ever been to the edges of earth? These claims were made by men over two-thousand years ago - and passed on by word of mouth, and through the bible (which needless to say has been altered considerably throughout history). What proof do you have that these people, equipped with slow moving carts and donkeys, knew where the edge of the earth was/existed?

The claims you make regarding science do not make sense. If indeed things where the way you say, the world would not work the way it does. In times before Christ it was assumed common knowledge that God makes the plants grow, although try placing a bucket over a plant and it will turn yellow and die. Take away its water, it will wither and die. Science has constantly been wrong throughout history - but so has religion.

What scientists believe, they do not particularly regard as fact (although i strongly agree with you, some do believe it fact, and are not open to other possible and unexplainable notions of god). Most scientists will not tell you that it is FACT that the earth has a molten core of nickel and iron, this is simply a THEORY, as no one has been there, or seen it. It is the most logical explaination they can come up with, to explain how the world works.

If you look in a science text book, no book will say "this is what an atom looks like" rather "this is what scientists believe an atom looks like".
20 ( or something ) years ago, electrons (the small negative particles that are believed to spin really really fast around the centre of atoms) were believed to follow paths - a new model now exists. Science is ever changing and ever evolving. It gave you the brick home you live in, the electricity you use to power your lights, the warm water in your shower, the car you drive, even the computer your using to read this post.

The big bang theory is called the big bang theory, because it is a theory. It is not called the big bang fact. I too find the idea preposterous, and agree there has to be something more than nothing exploding into something, thus creating the universe.

Science does not have to be what you can see through a microscope, telescope, or satelite image. Using the knowledge of science, and performing simple tests, people can predict the results - following patterns, equations and trends. Things that happen clearly, and visible easily by eye, not through a lens you look through.

I ask of you too write a fair and non biased response - please do not be obnoxious or treat me as inferior just because i have a different view. I am open towards the notion of god, Jesus and the bible, just as i am towards science. Which reminds me, what is your view on the popes opinion of science and religion co-existing?
