Well everyone, today was the day that my 10 year evolution experiment ended and boy was it an EPIC FAIL!!!! May 6th, 2000 was when my experiment began. I got the idea from a video from AnswersinGenesis in which a woman asks evolutionists to clean out their garage of everything, every single spec of dust. She then asks them to lock it up for 10 years and see if a car has been created.

Now, back in 2000 I was not a Christian, so I decided to go along with this experiment, expecting to show Intelligent Design proponents that evolution was true. Well, in a crippling blow to theory of evolution I opened the pad lock on my garage this afternoon, exactly 10 years later to the minute, and what do you know? There was no car there. How about that? This experiment was just as ridiculous as the evolutionist insistence that everything was created out of nothing.

I have already contacted AnswersinGenesis, the Discovery Institute, and Landover Baptist's creation science department in order to publish the results of my 10 year long study. If this doesn't prove that evolution is a hoax, that the Bible is the word of God, and that Jesus Christ is the Lord then I don't know what will.

Evolution = death.

Evolution only works for living beings. A car is made of inorganic metals, so it wouldn't evolve. Although your theory doesn't really work with cars either; I'm pretty sure in the Bible is doesn't say "And on the eighth day, God created the Ford Mondeo".... in fact it would have been scientists and engineers who first created the combustion engine and made the cars which we have today.
So that's not really a crippling blow, since anyone with any scientific knowledge would have told you that it wouldn't work before you even started it.

That experiment isn't evidence of anything at all. If the garage indeed stayed locked for 10 years (which I don't believe happened), there were probably some minuscule evolutionary advances at the cellular level.

Actually, not really, if your implying the car would come from evolution of..dust? Thats impossible. OP seems to think that evolution is magic, and not a slowly gradual change (over 1000s of years) to survive. Nothing being in the garage means nothing can Evolve. And even if there was something in there, how/why would it possible evolve? There is nothing preventing it from surviving (inless your not feeding it, which then it would die in weeks...) Nor is one generation enough time to evolve

Actually, True Christians® are bound by secular law. As much as God does not approve of such things, he has commanded us to follow the law of the land, so long as it doesn't contradict the Bible.

Well first of all, these laws only apply to Gods children. If another group of people are sinning God will either rain destruction on them Genesis 19 or tell us to declare war on them as he did with President Bush (Books of Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, both Kings). You will note that God did not demand that his people go in and stone these people, but to declare war and destroy the enemy.

As for within our own community, unfortunately Romans 13 tells us to submit to higher powers, and the current government says it's illegal to kill such people.

1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

This is why we are fighting so hard to get good Christian men into leadership positions so that we can bring Biblical rule to the nation.

Glad you’re finally coming around, champ. You are 100% right to ask that. It’s been a good while since I saw a decent fag stoning. My throwing arm is out of practice. I used to be able to hit a queer eye in the dark from 100 paces.

We have to play the long game though, champ. First we have to get that Mussie out of the Whitehouse and get a real man in there, a good solid trooper like Bush, one with real True Christian™ values. Then we can start thinking about getting this unGODly world back on the straight and narrow. We have to be patient. All things in good time. We wouldn't want all True Christians™ locked away and rotting a cell.

I must ask, why do you argue about things you are unqualified to argue about? It seems foolish to me. Did you read the introduction thread for newcomers? If so, you will know that the Landover Baptist Church principle rule is to follow the whole Holy Bible, because this is the rule of God him self.

To not simply give quotes out of perspective, just to win an argument, but to honestly quote and spread the word of God, to his standard, so that people will learn a measure of his wisdom, and understand their part in his plan, and find salvation with God, and salvation with Jesus, peace be upon him. It is wrong to follow the Holy Bible in part, and the Holy Bible makes this clear. The Scripture and the Gospel are the foundation of the Christian belief, approved, blessed, and made sacred by Jesus himself, peace be upon him. Do you think this Church lies or twists scripture? If not, good. If so, you need to prove it, or it is empty words.

It is common, for those who do not believe in God, and reject the salvation found in his words, to hold up what they think to be contradictions in the word of God, as a last resort to win an argument, or to damn God. These people are unqualified to speak about a subject they know nothing about, in a house full of experts. The Sixth Commandment,

Is perhaps the most common one brought up. I would wish to put your concern to rest.

As you should know, the Old Testament was written in classical Hebrew, the archaic Judean language of that time. The Sixth Commandment in classical Hebrew is, Tir-tsach Lo, which means, You shall kill Not. This is taken from the word Ratsach, which means, to intentionally kill unjustly or kill without just cause. Hebrew, like many languages, has different words that mean the same thing, with different contexts. For example:

Ratsach, meaning to intentionally kill unjustly
Nakah, meaning to accidentally kill
Sachat, meaning to kill for food or sacrifice
Muth, meaning to execute

And on, and on.

And so, we can see that, in correct context, the Sixth Commandment is not to kill intentionally without just cause. This is indeed a fair and straightforward rule to follow. There is no contradiction with this rule elsewhere in the Holy Bible, and indeed, there are examples of God’s wrath upon such terrible transgression.

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

But I will say to you, that English is not my first language, and I do not find it hard to understand the King James translation of the Holy Bible. And words or meanings that I do not understand, I simply learn. Is easy. But, again, we must consider the context always. Is important to read verses of the Holy Bible in their proper place. Context is everything.

You will find that False Christians quote out of context, and, more or less, tear out sacred pages of the Holy Bible that they do not like, or that do not fit in with their own imaginings. In pride, they pick and choose what parts of the Holy Bible they desire, and instead of correcting their own faults, they seek to find fault with God, and his word. They are as damned as those who are honest about their lack of belief.

Jesus said,

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

You will find that True Christians live and die by their word, for it is the word of God. You will find they are Champions of the Christ, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. You will find they revere the Holy Bible, in which God has bound us to his will, and given us wisdom and prudence. In which God has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed within himself, for he is most wise.

Jesus said,

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

The Holy Bible is God's power of salvation to those who hear and believe, for within it we learn the way for sinners to become righteous and salvation is revealed, for all to believe, so as to escape the punishment of a violated law. I would ask you to read the Holy Bible before you make claim to know what it contains, and before you pass judgment on it, and before you make more of a fool out of your self. Would you judge all books by only their cover, or only by one sentence lifted out of it? I think not.

wow, thats one hell of a contradiction. plus one of the questions many theists ask atheists were morality came from, this is ludacris to assume that the bible is a great moral template because god is a racist, homaphobic, selfcentered egotistisal jerk with the manners of a spoiled child. if he is a good moral center, you have some very disgusting morals. do you know how many people god killed in the bible,

The contradiction you point out really isn't a contradiction. Sure, thou shalt not kill, maybe murder would of been a better word there because it basically means thou shalt not kill without cause. Why else would it be followed with a bunch of laws that carry the death sentence according to God.

And you're mad at God for killing people? Did God kill your puppy when you were just a boy? Is that where the anger comes from? Because of course God kills people, God has killed everyone who has ever died. Do you know how crowded the earth would be if people didn't die?

So if you're going to blame anyone, blame Adam and Eve. Then again if they had not got themselves kicked out of Eden, whose to say you would of even existed. Maybe it would of been just the two of them for all eternity.
