Can you quote the biblical verses that say the sun and moon are spheres? Or are you just making this stuff up as you go along?

and also have you noticed that the planets appear disk-like when viewed form a telescope but surface changes? that would be because they are round and revolveing

Everything mentioned here is definite proof that the earth is flat.

first I was sceptic to, I will not try to hide this fact
but that was untill I had heard of all of your reasonings and figures and now it all appeared more clearly to me...I tried to convince my wife of this whole renewed theory but she wouldn't believe..so I did my christianduty and smacked here with my golf stick on her knee caps, I did not for one moment enjoyed what I was doing...

surley god will me forgive on this not? I'm kind of lost now, am I following the right path?

Funny you would come with that silly argument. I actually have a telescope and I have looked though it. I've looked at the moon many times, and the surface is always the same, the moon never "rotates", because it is not a spinning ball, it is a flat disk, like earth.

Next time you try to argue against a True Christian try to not use lies that are so easily disproved. Or better yet, stop living a lie and accept Jesus! You don't have to suffer everlasting agony, God can love you too, if you will only let Him!

i did say planets right? last time i checked the moon is a satellite not a planet try taking pictures of say mars and comparing them

It's amazing how many people blindly believe in a spherical Earth, without ever having seen it for themselves!

Yes they have, for example: Why is the horizon bend? And when you get to the horizon, how can you only see your present place in a distance and new places in front of you wich you couldnt see before? And if the earth was flat, how can you fly with an airplane around it?

Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

No, you wouldnt because you spin and fly through the universe at the same speed as earth itself.
Think of it like a train, when the train moves you will feel a preasure that pushes you backwards (like you said, landing 100s of meters away), however after a while that feeling goes away because you move as fast as the train.
It can be explained more if anything is unclear.

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down.

Correct, i wouldnt fall straight down but that depends most likely because the truck is accelerating but when you jump and are no longer connected to the truck you wont accelerate and keep the speed the truck had in the moment you jumped.
However, if the truck was using its brakes when you jump you would most likely experience that you fall forwards. Thats because when you jump the truck has a speed wich will slow down very fast while you yourself keep the speed the truck had before it started to brake and therefor you will go faster than the truck when you're in the air and "fly forwards".

That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.

You might just ask yourself, why does the stars move? Theyre almost never in the same spot as the were last time you looked at them, and ask yourself this:
How can the people in China have a different "skymap" with different star-formations as the poeple in the USA? If the Earth was flat you would look at the exact same stars, but you dont.

Absolutely not! The gravity is in the center of the earth wich means that the australians gravity is pointed just like ours, straight "down".

This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories.

Centrifugal force.... Tie a rock to a string and spinn it as fast as you can. There you go, you have just used centriffugal force.

So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

Thats because spheres doesnt automaticly create a gravity... However, spin the balloon around so the bottom is faced upwards and then place the piece of paper on it. It worked, didnt it?

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper.

Thats because its density high enough and tha mass isnt nearly big enough. But if you fill a huge ballon, the size of wich scientist claim the earth to be, with all the magma, rocks and material as the earth has it would definetly hold that piece of paper.

So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.

No because, as i've said, the gravity is in the center of earth.

Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

Yes, you can see further if your at high ground. But if the earth was flat, how can there be a horizon? If you stand on top of mount everest you would, accordingly to your own theoriy, see the entire world. But you cant. Objects will always be beyond the horizon no matter how high you stand.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.
