  • How to live longer, the Bible way

Many people try various sick-ular ways to extend their lifetimes. However, the surefire way to do so is hidden in the last place most "Christians" will look, namely, the King James Bible:

Exodus 20:12: Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Deut. 5:16: Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Deut. 11:8-9: Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; And that ye may prolong [your] days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Prov. 10:27: The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Obey God's commandments, and you'll live longer. The ironclad evidence is that the Bible says so.

Besides, haven't you ever wondered why True Christians™ always live so long, while the unsaved die young? Now you know the answer.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Uhm avoid anger, because anger can cause heart attacks. And those can kill you, prematurely. Anger cause high blood pressure, and that can cause weak vessels to burst, in the brain for instance. I'm not exactly sure about the science as you can tell but my meaning is good, there is something about anger which kills. Gluttony is another thing, obesity invites early death, and often sinners punish themselves with food in excess, to assuage their guilt. It's a hidden form of self-punishment, also because it tends to marginalize one socially, it destroys in more subtle or long-term ways as well. So sin breeds death, the Bible is absolutely correct. Since anger is almost always an expression of sin or hate, an inferior path to choosing wise solutions to the problems in life. Lust courts sexual diseases, which can cause death, sterility, insanity, etc, all expressions of death one way or another. These things are mostly common sense but still lend to support to the Bible, which is neat, I feel. Common sense and the Bible go hand in hand. Common sense is almost the same as wisdom imho. Don't quote me on that though, not sure if the Bible completely has the same stance...

Take care, be good, that is the gist of it I feel,

Wonderful sermon, Pastor. I would add that if you follow what God says, He will keep you disease free and turn it back on your enemies. Praise!

Deuteronomy 7:15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
