  • Greetings! A few questions!

    Hello browsers!

I'm very new to this thread, and I appreciate ya'll for having me. I'm a fairly young American, only 19, and I'm looking to broaden my horizons, so I do have a few questions I'd like to ask for sake of curiosity, so please bare with me .

Everyone is well aware how "mainstream" America feels nowadays about the history of the Earth, evolution, etc. However, what isn't talked about, and quite frankly generally looked down upon, is the fundamentalist view(if ya'll don't mind me calling it that, if that's the wrong term please correct me!)

The purpose of this thread is for me to find out YOUR views, and YOUR feelings. While I don't necessarily agree with them, I do think it's wrong that anyone's voice should be silenced. You have as much a right to speak as anyone.

    So, onto the questions!

1.How do you feel about early scientists? I.e Galileo, Newton, etc.

    2. Do you feel Evangelical Christians/Fundamentalist Christians are represented correctly in America's political system?

    3. Do you feel wronged by today's media? In example, they have a very negative view and tend to belittle people of your faith.

    4. Your views on George Bush?

That's all I can really think of, I thank you ahead of time for being patient, If i said anything offensive please forgive me. I look forward to replies

Son, don't be so lazy. Each and every one of these questions have already been answered, and mostly in this very section on "Creation Science". Read boy, read.

To give you a head start:

    1. All secular scientists lie, and make things up. God never changes.

    2. America is a Christian country, and preferred by Jesus. But most Christians out there are false.

    3. The secular media is run by joos who hate Jesus and want nothing more than to destroy us. There are viscious lies about Landover Baptist perpetuated by filthmongers like Geraldo Riveria and Wolf Blitzer.

    4. He is the best president we have ever had, and he was hand-picked by Jesus himself to lead our nation in the war against islamofacism.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Now you're confusing me. You seem to be stating that there's a disagreement somewhere. Surely you're not counting Lost Angeles and Jew York and Boston MassofJewSex and Sin Fransissyco as "America" are you?

The purpose of this thread is for me to find out YOUR views, and YOUR feelings.
The Bible would also suit this purpose, why not give it a read?

1.How do you feel about early scientists? I.e Galileo, Newton, etc.
Sinners. The Intelligent Falling Theory completely blow's Newton's Gravitational Theory out of the water.

      2. Do you feel Evangelical Christians/Fundamentalist Christians are represented correctly in America's political system?
Read the book of Leviticus. Are those laws the laws taken for granted in America?

      3. Do you feel wronged by today's media? In example, they have a very negative view and tend to belittle people of your faith.
That's a mild way of putting it. Here's a video where you can watch the freedom-supporting Georgian government shutting down its liberalmedia.

I watch this and dream that it's CNN and so on being shut down.

      4. Your views on George Bush?
      Read here:
Republican, Libertarian, Constitution Party, Christian Restoration Party welcome. No liberals or Demonrats allowed.
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

        I appreciate the reply.

        In response;

Galileo himself was very religion(although he was Catholic, he still had love for God.) And claimed to use science to prove God, he never said God changed, but that the heavens did, which of course was directly against scripture. What's your opinion on this?

The rest of the questions were answered fairly straightforward, and i thank you for that.

Also, one more question, a few years ago there was a man who was, at least in my opinion, a tad bit extreme. He shot an Abortion Doctor right outside his own home infront of the Doctor's wife and children. Do you support these actions? And if so, aren't they directly against Thou Shalt Not Murder?

          Mr. Thurmond,

I have read the bible, several times. I find its morals to be truly adhered to. It's an interesting read and every time i go back over it i find something new. However, is there no such thing as "give a little, take a little" in today's American politics?

Wait, the shooter's home, or the Doctor's home? Because in Texas you're allowed to shoot anyone who steps on your property. This man was showing a lot of restraint to spare the wife and children, dispite their trespassing.

Do you support these actions? And if so, aren't they directly against Thou Shalt Not Murder?
The ten commandments are how Christians are supposed to treat other Christians.

As for how we are to treat non-Christians, well, let me ask you this: ever met any Cannanittes? No? Maybe it's because somebody was commanded to "destroy them utterly".

We are NOT filthy mary worshipers! They are a hellbound cult of ring kissing antichrists.

You sound like a boy who is writing a report for high school. You really should read the Holy Bible...When God commands us not to kill, He means we are not to kill our fellow True Christians™. If you read the Bible, you will see that God commands us to kill queers, witches, and countless others.

Killing babies is wrong, so Jesus sent that baby-killer to hell, just as He will all the rest. They're mostly joo doctors, you know.

                  Re: Greetings! A few questions!

I'm 19, out of high school and into college.

The questions I'm asking are for my own knowledge, as almost any information you find nowadays is warped beyond reason, however this site looks like a very good source of trustworthy information.

The question was whether or not you supported the killer's actions.

In that case it's vigilantism. Christians are required to obey the laws. The proper way to deal with abortion doctors is to give them a fair trial, and then hang them. After a few months of getting sodomized by inner-city gang members on death row, of course.

Abortion is quite a complicated subject, this thread can answer questions about abortion.

Interesting on the commandments part, I was quite sure it said treat everyone, I'm gonna go look at it real quick.
Well, obviously the Bible does not contradict itself. Otherwise how could the Bible contain both "eye for an eye" and "thou shalt not kill"?

                      Very good point!

I thank you for being patient with my ignorance. It speaks volumes

Obviously, we are all responsible for our own souls, and what we do in life is what determines our worth.

In your sincere opinions, what is the worst thing you can possible do?

Well, if the punishment fits the crime, then any form of denying/disobeying Christ is the same as any other. They all result in the same punishment, eternal torture in the rape-rooms of hell.

However, there is also the unforgivable sin, aka the unpardonable sin. Perhaps it's worse, even though in the end the punishment is, one again, the same.

                            Well said.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Now, to secular logic, it might not seem as though a minor infringement, such as entertaining a few brief lustful thoughts about another man's wife, should be treated as being completely morally equivalent to kidnapping a small child, subjecting it to horrific abuse for weeks on end and then dumping its corpse in a ditch...secular logic is wrong.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

To return to your first post:

                              1. Early scientists, while often Godly men themselves, set in motion events which have separated man from faith and made him a prisoner of reason. Reason is insufficient; faith alone can crack the prison cell of man's pure reason. And it is through these cracks that the light gets in.

Thus only the well and truly cracked can feel the blessed light of the Lord.

                              2. True Christians will not be fairly represented in the political system until we are the political system. George Grant said,

"Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ - to have dominion in the civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness."

"But it is dominion that we are after. Not just a voice."

"It is dominion we are afier. Not just influence."

"It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time."

"It is dominion we are after."

"World conquest. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less."

That just about sums it up.

                              3. The media must be made to serve God's message. You see, damnation is the ultimate evil for the human soul. Every message which casts doubt on Christian principles leads humans toward the ultimate evil of damnation. Now, any lesser evil is to be preferred to the ultimate evil. (This is straightforward moral arithmetic.) Therefore filling in Daniel Schorr's mouth with cement is preferable to letting him cast doubt on the Godly aims of the Christian right.

                              4. George "Gee-Dubya" Bush is a God-fearing man. Much like the Blues Brothers, he is on a mission from God. But unlike John Belushi, he exercises regularly and is still alive. He has shown us all how easy it all can be if you just take it easy. Unlike Clinton, he tends not to "overthink" a problem.

Of course these might be only my personal opinions.
