Re: OUTER SPACE: Not an empty void, but a vast ocean!
Alright I'm not sure where to start... First of all the sky is blue because light from the sun is scattered by the particles in our atmosphere causing blue and red light to go to earth. During the day more of the blue is scattered to the surface than the red which is why the sky looks blue during the day. More evidence of this is during sunset when the sun is at a steeper angle more red is scattered to the surface than blue so the sky is a reddish color. Also at night the sky is black, what is your reasoning for that? If space WAS water then we wouldn't see any stars. Stars can be millions of times larger than earth and are millions upon billions of light years away. The only reason we see stars at night is because they exist in a vacuum. Just think, can you see millions of miles through water? no you cannot. You cant even see 50 miles through air. The reason you can see millions of light years through a vacuum is because there is nothing in that space to block any light. The reason for rain is that water evaporates, rises into the sky and form clouds, then, since the temperature high in the atmosphere is colder, the water vapor condenses back into water and falls back to the ground due to gravity. I'm sorry but its not god's water or angel tears. Its more like all the water on the street and in the gross ponds mixes in the sky and falls on you... so really its more like god pissing on you in terms of cleanliness especially if you live in a dirty polluted area. If you can think of an intelligent rebuttal please do let me know but unless your evidence is factual and not solely based on a book that has been edited (butchered) constantly over the past 2000 years by greedy Christians looking to scare people into giving the church all their money (the bible), then please enlighten yourself before responding.
I think that covers everything... So i leave you with a quote from one of the greatest men to ever live...
"I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature." (Albert Einstein, The World as I See It)
