Re: OUTER SPACE: Not an empty void, but a vast ocean!

Alright I'm not sure where to start... First of all the sky is blue because light from the sun is scattered by the particles in our atmosphere causing blue and red light to go to earth. During the day more of the blue is scattered to the surface than the red which is why the sky looks blue during the day. More evidence of this is during sunset when the sun is at a steeper angle more red is scattered to the surface than blue so the sky is a reddish color. Also at night the sky is black, what is your reasoning for that? If space WAS water then we wouldn't see any stars. Stars can be millions of times larger than earth and are millions upon billions of light years away. The only reason we see stars at night is because they exist in a vacuum. Just think, can you see millions of miles through water? no you cannot. You cant even see 50 miles through air. The reason you can see millions of light years through a vacuum is because there is nothing in that space to block any light. The reason for rain is that water evaporates, rises into the sky and form clouds, then, since the temperature high in the atmosphere is colder, the water vapor condenses back into water and falls back to the ground due to gravity. I'm sorry but its not god's water or angel tears. Its more like all the water on the street and in the gross ponds mixes in the sky and falls on you... so really its more like god pissing on you in terms of cleanliness especially if you live in a dirty polluted area. If you can think of an intelligent rebuttal please do let me know but unless your evidence is factual and not solely based on a book that has been edited (butchered) constantly over the past 2000 years by greedy Christians looking to scare people into giving the church all their money (the bible), then please enlighten yourself before responding.

I think that covers everything... So i leave you with a quote from one of the greatest men to ever live...
"I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature." (Albert Einstein, The World as I See It)
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I think you missed Rev. Jim's point.

      The Bible tells us:

      Water
      Earth
      Sky
Firmament, with stars in it, separating land from water
      Water

We can see the stars because they're in the firmament, and the water is behind them.

      Here, this might help:

      The Second Day

On the second day, God made a “firmament”, the vault of the sky, which he called Heaven. He made it to divide the waters below the sky from the waters above the sky. (Gen. 1:6-8)

That’s right, the sky is a big dome, and there are waters above it! Pretty amazing . . . But wait, there’s more!

      The Third Day

On the third day, God pulled all the water under the sky into one place, making the ocean. Then, the dry land appeared, on which He commanded plants and trees to spring forth. God thought these were pretty good, too. (Gen. 1:9-13)

I bet you thought the water on the Earth filled low spots, didn’t you? So it would seem more like God pulled the land together to make space for the oceans, wouldn’t it? But the Bible says God pulled the water together all in one place.

Is all the water in one place now? Why not?

      The Fourth Day

On the fourth day, God put lights in the big dome; a big light (the sun) for the day, a smaller light (moon) for the night, and a bunch of tiny stars which would tell people signs, seasons, days, and years. He made the sky into a calendar! (Gen. 1: 14-19)

So, the sky is a big dome, and the sun and the stars are stuck in it. There are two sources of water, the water above the dome and the water below the dome. That means there is water behind the stars!

Does that mean that’s where rain comes from, behind the stars?
      Bible boring? Nonsense!

And once again, you not only refuse to answer a simple question, you insult someone who is trying to understand you.

To refresh your memory: So if we looked at water under a really powerful microscope, we'd see a bunch of brown, green and blue balls with little letters on them?

What a wonderful message! So beautiful! It actually brought a manly tear to my right eye.

What I don't understand is why there are so many people out there that want to deny His Glory, using profane science as the weapon of choice. Do they hate God so much that they cannot even acknowledge His Handiwork when we are blessed by rain? Someone even quotes that mixed up, debauched joo-boy Einstein here. It's disgusting!

there were no needs to be so rudes to Mr.Didymus even tho he be unsaveds . anyways there be no proofs that elecktrons an protons exists, i thinks that when sciencetists look at waters unner a microsckope, they see liddle tiny dust bunnys in the waters an then they thinks that maybee them bunnys be atoms an stuff. water just be water, it be mades of waters an nothang else, water not made of smaller stuff

I think there is little hope for the young man you replied to. He is obviously the product of public schools who teach such nonsense. Light turns blue because it is scattered? You can shine a flashlight into a mirror to disprove that idea but still they indoctrinate our children with such craziness in science classes.
