I never said that I believe in scientists and universities over the bible. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Also, Jimmy, Condoms: Death Wrapped in Rubber, likely informed kids to not use condoms. The thing is, humans naturally want to have sex, it's our instinct. This tract probably caused the transmission of multiple STDs between young innocent people. How could you do such a thing? Do you not feel any remorse?

I never said science knows more than God. I'm saying that humanity knows less than God does and our search for knowledge lies in science. God and science are not at war with each other. God enables us with knowledge and curiosity. I, for one, would think that not trying to pursuit knowledge is spitting in God's face.

Heathen_Basher, by TRUE science, I mean the science that is taught at universities and other recognized institution, not stories from the bible.

Also, why did you give me an infraction for my last post? I was explaining that correlation is not causation.

Let's say, hypothetically, that there was a correlation reading and heart disease. I.e. suppose we found data which showed that people who read more also had a great chance a heart disease and vice versa. It would be completely illogical to claim that reading caused heart disease! Clearly, there have to be other factors involved if we had this sort of relationship.

The same is true of the graphs that COM showed us. You cannot say that condoms CAUSE HIV, it just doesn't make sense.

Exactly everything you said was completely wrong.

First of all, correlation is not causation. That is, just because there is a relationship between two variables does not mean that one causes the other. For instance, if there is a relationship between A and B then it might be the case that A causes B, B causes A, or there is a third unknown variable which is causing the correlation.

Secondly, you are reading the graph wrong. Low percentage of condom use implies a higher likelihood of contracting HIV since you are only using a condom 15% of the time, leaving you at risk 85% of the time.

Also, this is incredibly hypocritical of you! In every other thread here, you people bash true science and now you are misconstruing it for your own purposes? That's a load of bullshit right there.
